February half term in Cornwall

Keep the kids (and your self!) happy this February half term (17th-21st) by planning some fun and interactive things to do during your stay in Cornwall courtesy of the fantastic mix available throughout the county.

So often the week flys by before you’ve even thought about how to entertain the family, so make the most of your precious time together (and stop the bickering before it starts!) with an activity, day out, show, or event that’ll ensure a memorable holiday for all.

Here’s some sure-fire crowd-pleasing ideas to get you started…

Half Term at The Seahorse

Head to The Seahorse Club at St Austell’s Pentewan Sands for the free and fun-filled event that is, Sandy the Seahorse’s Birthday Party (15th February). Ideal for little ones, there will be party games, dances, and a special meet and greet with the star of the show, Sandy The Seahorse! And with a series of other events throughout the week including Disney Club, Wild West Day, Movie Club, Arts & Crafts, Bubble Art, Superhero Club, Sheepherding Competition and Wacky Science with the Professor, both younger and older children will find something enthralling to do.

Enjoy ‘carrot time’ in the Fun Farm, the ‘Flying Macaws’, feeding the penguins and the ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ parrot show. Plus, the JungleBarn Play Centre and toddler’s zone provide the perfect places to exhaust and entertain all little ones, ensuring a day of delights for all.

Ice Skating at Eden Project (until 23rd February)

Make the most of a wet weather day by scheduling something fun at a world-renowned location, like ice-skating at the Eden Project. Whether you go all-out with a skating lesson or join a general or family fun skating session, expect a rib-tickling time at Cornwall’s must-see attraction.

Half Term at Wheal Martyn

Explore this brilliant attraction and engage the kids with everything from ‘paint a bug house’ to Cornish china clay pottery painting this half term with Wheal Martyn’s creative host of activities.
