A weekend at Corner House Loft

If you and your significant other are looking to get away from the stresses and strains of daily life, then a long weekend in the Cornish fishing village of Mevagissey could be just the remedy. No matter what time of year you choose to visit, Corner House Loft, one of our Unique and Boutique properties in Mevagissey, will give you both the opportunity to relax and unwind in style and luxury.

After a luxurious night’s sleep in the sumptuous super-king size bed, why not treat yourselves to some delicious fresh pastries from The Cornish Bakery, just steps down the road. Choose from their selection of freshly baked almond and cherry croissants, ham and cheese croissants, apricot danish pastries and more!

Corner House Loft is perfectly positioned to explore the village, so come rain or shine, don your shoes and explore all that Mevagissey has to offer, from independent shops, cafes and restaurants, to its own museum, model railway village and small aquarium.

Not to be missed is a boat ride from Mevagissey across to the lovely village of Fowey – just be sure not to miss the last ferry back!

If you fancy exploring further afield, hop in your car and head to one of the following local attractions:

- Beaches – regardless of the time of year, you can’t visit Mevagissey without popping along to the nearby beautiful beaches of Pentewan and Gorran Haven.

Following a busy day out and about, there’s no need to go far to enjoy a fantastic meal. There’s a selection of restaurants and pubs to choose from, including The Sharksfin and The Harbour Tavern. Alternatively, there’s some great take-aways in the village if you want to snuggle up in Corner House Loft and enjoy a romantic meal together, glass of wine in hand and fire roaring.
