A weekend at Corner House Loft

Not to be missed is a boat ride from Mevagissey across to the lovely village of Fowey – just be sure not to miss the last ferry back!

The-Eden-Project-Cornwall

The Eden Project – the famous biomes are an absolute must when visiting South Cornwall. With events on throughout the year, there’s always plenty to keep you entertained at this super eco-friendly establishment.   

The Lost Gardens of Heligan – located near Mevagissey, these once forgotten gardens have been lovingly restored to their former glory. With over 200 acres of gardens to explore, including the Victorian walled garden, the sub-tropical jungle and the pleasure grounds, you’ll need to allow a whole day for your visit.

Caerhays Castle – this English Heritage Grade II listed castle with 120 acres of woodland gardens are a wonder to visit during the spring and summer. Guided castle tours are available from March to June, and the gardens can be visited from February to June.

- Beaches – regardless of the time of year, you can’t visit Mevagissey without popping along to the nearby beautiful beaches of Pentewan and Gorran Haven. 

Following a busy day out and about, there’s no need to go far to enjoy a fantastic meal. There’s a selection of restaurants and pubs to choose from, including The Sharksfin and The Harbour Tavern. Alternatively, there’s some great take-aways in the village if you want to snuggle up in Corner House Loft and enjoy a romantic meal together, glass of wine in hand and fire roaring.
