Based right in the centre of Cornwall you are in a perfect location to explore both coasts of Cornwall, with Falmouth and Megavissey on the south coast and Newquay and Padstow on the north. If you venture down to the far west, you’re still only a 30-40 minute drive away to explore the cobbled streets of St Ives and the famous St Michael’s Mount.

The Truro Raid Memorial was proudly installed in June 2018, dedicated to those who lost their lives in the 1942 bombing.

Take a moment to appreciate the architecture of Truro Cathedral.
Be sure to visit Malpas, a beautiful riverside village just a mile or so from the city centre. From here, enjoy a boat ride along the river to Falmouth.
The city is a hive of activity, with live music performances taking place regularly in Lemon Quay and the surrounding parks and gardens. Visit on a Wednesday or Saturday and enjoy the local farmer’s market in the centre of town, promoting a range of local Cornish goods. Truro’s City of Lights is a fantastic annual event and we recommend visiting in November when hundreds of paper lantern creations parade through streets lined with spectators.
