Surfside, what can be said that hasn’t been mentioned before in our previous reviews.

This is our fourth stay, testament in itself to the wonderful location, caring owner & helpful neighbours. Not forgetting fantastic facilities & beautiful personal touches.

Basically our little piece of heaven.

Of course, have to add already booked next year.

This is an awesome property, obviously much loved by the property owner as they take such pride in keeping it to such a high standard.

The host Jennifer was amazing; she really couldn't have been more helpful and went "above and beyond" to ensure that I enjoyed my stay - despite the awful weather! She has even thought to provide a torch and also binoculars, so that I could watch the surfers from the sofa! I am thrilled to have met her. She made me feel very welcome and responded very quickly when I contacted her. My 2 dogs loved both the house and very safe and secure garden, plus the chance to visit Black Rock Bay (only 10 mins across cliff tops) to play on the dog-friendly beach. We did find the canal footpath from Bude, and had a couple of lovely walks along there enjoying the countryside and even made it to the Weir, where we enjoyed a welcome cuppa before walking back. Love Surfside, location is100% perfect, 5 minute walk to access the beach, 2 minute walk to beach cafe and there’s bus to Bude too. Views are superb. Accommodation exceeds expectations, spacious, clean and well equipped hence booking 3 years on the trot - sadly we were too slow for 2026 so missed out. Well done to the host (who we briefly met and was lovely), the welcoming welcome pack very much appreciated too. Highly recommend Surfside, you will only regret you did not book before.

We have booked through Aspects several times before but this was the first time staying at Surfside. We had an awesome holiday as the property is perfectly positioned and excellent for families looking to explore North Cornwall or just enjoy the beautiful Widemouth bay beach. Being just 10 minutes from Bude with its various shops, beaches and eateries. Surfside was like a home from home, special notable features such as the heated outside shower ( great after a day on the beach) the garden is a great sun trap and ideal for al-fresco dining and the views from the front of the property of the sea are to die for. The beach really is just a short 2 minute walk away and ideal for an after dinner stroll to watch the sun set. The owner is really lovely and responsive to questions and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay so much we booked our return stay for 2026 before leaving.

This is a wonderful property in a fantastic location. It has everything you need and more! Everything is catered for, tea coffee and a coffee filter machine for those sunny mornings in the garden on the patio.

I have 4 children, two of which are teenagers and there was more than enough space for all of us. The boys loved the warm shower outside in the garden when returning from a great body boarding session!

There is a lovely little snug upstairs with the most beautiful view of the beach, watching the sunsets on the horizon.

The owner even came to make sure we had everything we needed which was a lovely personal touch.

We will definitely be booking again.

This was our second stay at Surfside and we are returning next year so that says it all! Lovely helpful friendly owner, spotless property, excellent location. Great being by the beach with 3 kids,one has learning disabilities so our days are like the weather unpredictable, so being able to go the beach at any time we felt like we could! Great choice of places to eat within walking distance, short drive to Bude,shops and things to do for the kids. Even on a rainy day we didn't mind staying in because the bungalow is a home from home, we didn't want to leave and look forward to coming back! See you next year!

Beautiful apartment, just over the road from the beach. Fantastic views. Everything was spotless and very well equipped. Very nice welcome goodies in fridge and cupboard.

This is our fourth return to the property due to its great location, layout and facilities not to mention the personal touch from the owner on arrival with welcome goodies. We have booked again for next year.

The owner has created a haven of tranquillity in an ever-busy world. The views from the bungalow are absolutely stunning towards the sea & hills. The sunsets are worthy of their own mention in a periodical. The beds are extremely comfy after a hard day’s sightseeing, walking or just surfing.

The facilities provided are amazing everything you could think of is to hand, even lovely welcome goodies in the fridge & cupboards. As returning guests it is good to see that the owner is always seeing to the upkeep of everything, keeping it to a very high standard throughout the season.

We look forward as ever to returning to our little piece of heaven & are very grateful to Aspects for having this awesome property in their portfolio.

Wow .... such a lovely holiday let, we've stayed in Bude / Widemouth Bay for over 30 years and this is one of the best places we've stayed at . So comfortable , clean and the best views . So close to the beach ideal for running the dogs on the beach . We've just re booked and can't wait to be back at Surfside, this will be our go to place from now on .

Wow we are speechless - had a great time at Surfside at Widemouth Bay. The accommodation is superb. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you need and more. The views are stunning and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. It was so comfortable, cosy and in a beautiful location. The snug is great for watching the waves and gazing out at the views. It’s also within walking distance of pubs, cafe and beach. I never imagined that Cornwall would be so amazing in winter. We will certainly be back to this little gem of a cottage. Thanks to the owner who was absolutely wonderful and kind, nothing was too much trouble and there if you needed her. Thanks to aspects cottages for having such a wonderful cottage in their portfolio and making our stay fantastic.

Lovely week at Surfside, the property seemed more spacious then expected.. Everything we needed. Good enclosed garden for the dog.. Easy walk to the beach..

Aspect Holiday very easy to book & kept up to date with info regarding holiday. Surfside lovely bungalow with everything you could possibly need. Comfy sofas in lounge, large 63" Sky TV with sea views. Comfy king bed also with sea views. Small kitchen, utility & large dining room. Enclosed private garden perfect for our dogs. Welcome pack includes bottle of white wine (I drink red!), 4 pint milk, Biscoff biscuits, bag dog treats & 2 ID discs for dogs to use during stay. Loved it so much booked up for next year.

The owner is absolutely amazing, she is informative, knowledgable & helpful in every way possible. Surfside is a stunning property, made all the better, by this truly wonderful host. We have already booked next year. Its location cannot be bettered. Coffee in the morning looking out at the blustery Cornish sea was magical.

Fabulous views. Just across the road from the beach. Lovely enclosed garden. Would recommend the Widemouth Bay Cafe across the road who make lovely coffee. We had an amazing two weeks at Surfside, the accommodation was spotless,comfortable and spacious. It felt like a home from home. Location was excellent we love the beach so it was ideal for us. We went with three children age 13,8 and 6 they loved it! So much we booked again for next year before we even left this year! Thank you for the welcome goodies this was a really nice touch. Can't wait to come back!

Love Surfside excellent property in a beautiful location many hours spent in the rock pools and watching the surfers in all weather's riding the waves..Didn't want to leave. Easy access to Bude.Boscastle Port issac and all the other wonderful beaches along that side of Cornwall... it has been our second stay at Surfside and I'm sure we will be back..thank you for making our holiday worth the long journey from Manchester.

Our second stay at Surfside and we had a fantastic week as before. Location was great for walks along the coastal path and also as a base for visiting other places. Rolo, our cocker spaniel absolutely loved it! Definitely hope to return for a third time at some point.

We had a lovely week at Surfside and enjoyed going to the beach every day. The house and local facilities are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Despite stormy weather we enjoyed a wonderful week at Surfside. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed as a family of two adults and three young children. The property is bigger than it appears in the photos and the location is unbeatable, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The property owner provided a warm welcome and checked we had all we needed.

Lovely holiday accommodation. Perfect location and beautiful view of the sea and the waves. Peaceful and comfortable but lots of little touches which make a difference. I would recommend.

Surfside is a great place to stay with access to the beach in a few minutes. Clean and comfortable and lovely sea view from the lounge window. Great to have hot shower outside after surfing and the football table was a hit with the kids. Bude is only a short car ride away and a lovely place to visit. Would recommend a stay to anyone.

Surfside was a wonderful place to stay. We loved our time there and will be going back. The beach is close by and easy access. Highly recommend

Surfside was far larger than we had anticipated from the descriptions. It had all that was needed for a family on holiday. As a couple we had more than enough space and with everything you need at hand it was a great stay. The best feature for us was waking up to the view of crashing waves. The beach was literally over the road from the property and is truly amazing. For kids there were many board games available and a table football room as well as a snug upstairs that had another TV. The property had sky tv and a 65" tv which is very unusual for rental properties around Cornwall. WIFI again was very good although there is no mobile signal in widemouth( no fault of the property/ owner) Met and had a chat with the owner who was really great, very friendly and helpful. All in all we will return again next year although the bookings for this property are already filling out.

We absolutely loved Surfside, it was super clean, well equipped and furnished. The view from the lounge window is fantastic. The beds were very comfortable with good quality mattresses, so all slept well. Popped over to the beach most evenings with a glass of wine to watch the beautiful sunsets.

Great location. A few minutes walk from the beach and also beach bar and bay view inn within walking distance. Bungalow was comfortable with everything included for a fantastic holiday.

Brilliant beach location for body boarding and surfing just a couple of minutes walk with hot outside shower for when you return. Football table and upstairs den area was a hit with the kids. Highly recommend staying at surfside.

Although our last visit to Cornwall was 3 years ago due to Covid we have been coming to this area for over 15 years. The property is in the perfect location for a quiet beach holiday. We walked down to the beach most evenings and had family time playing games in the snug. The boys loved the football table too! The Weir is a lovely walk with fantastic food, a lovely view and stuff for the kids. We’re all looking forward to our next visit ??

We have just returned from a week's stay at Surfside .Although we have been to North Cornwall many times this was our first trip to Widemouth Bay and the Bude area. Widemouth Bay is beautiful excellent for dog walking surfing or watching the world go by at the cafe drinking a coffee and chilling. Surfside is a credit to the owners .Well equipped clean comfortable with a pretty garden and amazing sunsets to be seen from the property .I fell in love with the little snug upstairs didn't want the holiday to end but I am sure we will be back.

We have just returned from a week at Surfside. The house is in a fantastic position with sea views from the lounge window. Just 2 minutes walk to the beach. Perfect for taking our dogs for a walk on the beach. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. Booked for next Easter while we were there!

Comfortable and light property in a great location. Plenty of seating in the living room with a good view of the sea. The top snug has the best views in the house and is a great place to have your morning cuppa.

Would recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of Cornwall.

Surfside is a great holiday location. Close enough to Bude, but with the beach a stones throw away we spent a lot of time there. The garden is perfect for the dog. The beds are very comfortable and the views out of the window are great. We have already booked next year.

Great location, comfy beds huge TV and a fantastic hang out space for younger guests. If booking for those with mobility issues the inner doorway into the extension was tricky as it was an external door originally and wider and higher step than expected. Furniture comfy but quite low for people with mobility issues. Anyone booking will have a lovely holiday, just sit watching the waves and the surfers riding the waves.

Surfside is a lovely property a stones throw from the beach with lovely views. The property was immaculate throughout and a safe and secure garden for our dog. The bedrooms are amazing with the most comfortable mattress's. A lovely welcome pack including wine we received on arrival. We loved Surfside so much we are booking for next year. We had a fantastic holiday and wish to Thank Aspect holidays and the owners of Surfside.
