Although quietly tucked away, the central location is ideal for exploring everything this popular town has to offer on foot.

With a woodburner to enjoy the cooler months and enclosed garden for the summer evenings, Mincarlo House would suit families and couples alike and even welcomes your four legged friend to join the holiday too.

Very good location, near Sainsbury's, wall to the beach and into Newquay town. Back garden is large with plenty of room for dogs and children! Parking got a bit expensive for us, £8 a day, but just factor it into the cost. Bedrooms very spacious and had everything we needed. You can actually just about see the sea out of the velux window in one of the bathrooms!

October 2020

We had a wonderful stay at Mincarlo House. It is in a perfect location - close to the beaches and the town. And Sainsbury’s is on the doorstep! The cottage is higgledy-piggledy (part of it’s charm in our opinion) but wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. And parking anywhere close during the summer months is a bit hit and miss. Apart from that, we would recommend Mincarlo House.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you very much for your review. We were delighted to see that you had a wonderful stay at Mincarlo House and that you enjoyed its fantastic location, being so close to the beaches and the town's amenities. With the property being a charming older cottage, the layout of the property and steep stairs are certainly quirky and do add a lot of character to the property, but may prove tricky for those with limited mobility, which we try to display as accurately as possible on the website description and corresponding photographs. With visits to Cornish seaside towns becoming increasingly popular year on year, parking is at a premium during the peak weeks, so sometimes of the year can be more difficult than others to find a space, but please do not hesitate to contact our team beforehand, who will be happy to help advice on the closest car parks and other private parking options that may be available. Thanks again for your comments, we hope to see you again soon. Ben, Customer Services

We stayed at Mincarlo cottage for the Christmas week and I have to stay it really is a beautiful character cottage, it is quirky and fun and we would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

Character house in a great location

A charming cottage - full of chracter. Conveniently located in the heart of the town with plenty of shops, bars and beaches nearby. There is plenty of long stay parking just a few minutes walk away. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic holiday cottage really cosy has everything you need and great location in the centre of Newquay so all shops within walking distance very peaceful as the cottage is in a very well lit alleyway very dog friendly fully enclosed garden back and front so my little sausage dog was very happy thankyou aspect holidays

Great location only downside was parking .. none with accommodation n very hard to park locally without risking a ticket .. local council car parks were free after 4pm until 9am but still quite a way from cottage

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay but would not stop again unless parking was sorted

excellent location, quirky and delightful cottage, garden needs some love and attention

Wonderful central location, close to beach and all amenities, but still nice and quiet.

The Mincarlo House was our first house in Newquay. We loved this real cornish style. The house is very central to the beaches, to the city and Sainsbury! We enjoyed our stay very to the full.

Very happy with our week at Mincarlo House but you need to be fit because of all the stairs. 23 upto the top bedrooms off the kitchen. We are happy with all the service we got from Aspect Holidays and Hannah. Thank you.

A lovely stay, in a lovely old house which has many modern mod-cons
