Based over three floors with a cosy living space complete with an open fire, Jubilee House makes for a perfect escape at any time of year. You can enjoy the views of the coast from the top snug room and have all the amenities you could need within walking distance. It's the perfect choice for a family of four looking for a home from home in the heart of Newquay.

Fistral beach is undoubtably Newquay's most famous beach, bursting with activities, places to eat and drink and a playground for surfers of all abilities. Walk the coastal paths and explore further afield, with so many stunning places to find such as Crantock, Holywell Bay, Mawgan Porth or Watergate to name just a few. Be it surfing, crabbing, fishing or walking, Jubilee House is the ideal base for making happy memories in Cornwall.

This is a lovely central location. Clean and beautifully presented. Needs garden furniture at front so you can sit out in evenings.

Newquay is all about stunning scenery, beaches, and the waves. Being the surf capital of the UK, you’ll find an abundance of surf shops and schools allowing you to immerse yourself in the surfing culture from the moment you arrive.

However, if surfing isn’t for you, there’s plenty of ways to fill the days while staying in Newquay. Head to one of the many beaches for a family day on the sand - picture rock pooling, picnics and sandy toes! If you fancy a bit of retail therapy, the bustling town has a selection of independent shops selling an array of goods including clothes, artwork and delightful handmade treats. 

Newquay also has a selection of attractions perfect for the kids (and big kids) of the family! Spend a day at Newquay Zoo, visit Blue Reef Aquarium, board the trains at Lappa Valley, feed the animals at Dairyland or travel back in time at Trerice Manor House.

Beaches

When staying at a holiday cottage in Newquay, you won’t be short of beaches to choose from, with nine sandy beaches on the doorstep. All of Newquay’s beaches are lifeguarded in the summer, providing a safe place to spend the day soaking up the sun.  

Watergate Bay and Fistral beach welcome dogs all year round, making Newquay an ideal location to spend a week with your four legged friend.

Attractions in Newquay

With such an abundance of attractions in and around Newquay, it’s the perfect place for a family holiday at any time of year. Newquay Zoo offers a great day out at any time of year, as do the nearby Screech Owl Sanctuary, and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Holywell Bay Fun Park provides guaranteed fun for the family whatever the weather.

If you fancy something a bit different, fishing trips and sea safaris are available, from which you can take in the scenery from a different angle. You may even be lucky enough to catch a sight of seals and dolphins!

Newquay’s links golf course overlooks Fistral beach and is regarded as one of the best golf courses in the county, providing a different challenge everyday depending on the weather.

Santa at Lappa Valley Steam Railway
