Warm welcome, lovely cream tea (cream on first ??) cheese biscuits ??& prosecco ??. Would highly recommend

The property itself was cosy and comfortable, a nice location to return to after a day off exploring the coastlines of Cornwall. The owners were so generous, friendly and helpful, and the welcome hamper was very much appreciated and enjoyed. I would definitely recommend the Ruskin for a little Cornish getaway.

Ruskin is superb - everything is best quality, clean and almost new. Owners very attentive but not intrusive. Garden and patio area well tended and tidy. Can recommend to all. Likely to rebook next year.

Ruskin is an extremely comfortable, peaceful and well-equipped holiday home, especially if you do not want the hustle and bustle of a large town. Night-life, correspondingly, is negligent and you will need to travel to eat out. The accommodation, however, has all the equipment you will need to self-cater. It is ideally situated to visit many places of interest in Cornwall, and because of its isolated location having a car is a must - there is parking at the accommodation.

Ruskin is clean, comfortable, cosy, well equipped and the perfect base to explore the stunning coastal area, situated amid glorious countryside. Lovely welcoming hosts helped make it a great holiday. Chris and Barbara, Woking.

A delightful property set in a quiet, relaxing location with very welcoming and helpful owners who live on site. The cream tea and prosecco awaiting us on arrival was very much appreciated after a tiring journey.

Ruskin is a lovely quaint cottage annex, it was everything and more for what we needed during our week stay. The welcome gift of cream tea, cheese and crackers and bottle of prosecco was gratefully received, so thank you!

A very comfortable accommodation in a very quiet location. We were pleasantly surprised to find on our arrival scones, jam and cream, a bottle of prosecco, milk and crackers and cheese waiting for us. Well equipped, there was everything we needed for our stay. The village is within walking distance, although hilly with a great pub but the beach is over 2 miles and found we did need the car. The whole of this part of Cornwall has some great beaches and quiet rural villages and Ruskin is well located to visit all. If you are concerned about the airport being close don’t be, we hardly heard anything and what we did hear was not intrusive.

Lovely cottage, lovely owners. Didn’t want to leave

comfortable accommodation in a pleasant location. Owners very approachable & helpful.

Ideal for walkers

This was an excellent property and had absolutely everything we needed. Our hosts, Mr and Mrs Russell, were fantastic and made us feel right at home. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely surprise. I would definitely recommend staying here.
