At Aspects Holidays we’re passionate about being a part of our local community and regulary support organisations, charities and events across Cornwall. From protecting wildlife to sponsoring numerous sports clubs, we actively engage in helping to improve Cornish communities for locals and visitors alike.
Home to our headquarters, the seaside town of Hayle features a traditional lido built in the 1960s. The outdoor pool, situated next to the estuary, opens seasonally from May to September. Understandably, maintaining the pool is costly but essential for the heritage and community of Hayle. Hearing that the pool needed some additional funds this year, we were delighted to step in and sponsor the lifeguard jackets.
Our PR and Marketing Executive, Jenna Ali, attended the official pool opening on Saturday 24th May, along with the Mayor of Hayle, members of Hayle Town Council, the pool lifeguards and many others who made the pool opening possible this year. Jenna was delighted to see the lifeguards’ smart new jackets, proudly displaying our logo on the reverse.
As the Mayor, Jeremy Martin, cut the ribbon, he kindly thanked Aspects Holidays for the support and the generous donation, which covered the cost of the lifeguard jackets, perfect for keeping the lifeguards warm in the unpredictable Cornish weather!
If you’re visiting Hayle or staying nearby, we highly recommend a visit to this lovely outdoor pool. Equipped with a solar cover, the pool maintains a comfortable temperature of between 24 and 26 degrees - perfect for the summer months. Kids (and adults alike) will love the slide at the shallow end! After a dip in the water, lounge poolside on the grass area, relax on the patio seating, and treat yourself to something from the onsite cafe.
Changing rooms are available, complete with toilets and showers.
