Aspects Holidays begins Corporate Partnership with Go Beyond

We are proud to announce our Corporate Partnership with Go Beyond, a fantastic charity providing much-needed breaks for children facing serious challenges in life.

With holidays at the heart of what we do, we understand the significance of escaping the everyday and making memories to last a lifetime. Sadly, there are many children and young people across the country who don’t have such an opportunity, and it is often these children who would benefit significantly from a break. This is where Go Beyond comes in, providing breaks in the countryside for children and young people who have been bereaved, abused, bullied, are living in poverty, or caring for loved ones. A Go Beyond break gives a child the chance to take time away from the worries and pressures of everyday life and enjoy the chance to simply be a child.

Both Go Beyond centres, one in Cornwall and one in Derbyshire, are well-equipped with ample onsite activities and fantastic facilities to entertain the group. Complete with a Sports Barn, Arts and Crafts Barn and a Games Room, there’s something for everyone. Furthermore, children enjoying a break can also expect day trips and offsite activities such as rock climbing. By providing a diverse range of activities, young people supported by Go Beyond are given the chance to try something new, and to believe in a future beyond what they thought possible. Not to mention the long-lasting friendships built while on holiday with Go Beyond.

Our sponsorship will cover the costs for two children to attend a residential break at a Go Beyond centre, providing the opportunity to make a lasting difference to these young peoples’ lives.

Tamsyn Howes, Business Development Manager at Go Beyond, said: “We are so grateful to Aspects Holidays for agreeing to raise enough for two young people who face serious challenges in their lives to have a break at Go Beyond; a break that will give them the moments they need to believe in themselves so they return home knowing not only what the world can offer them but what they, in turn, can offer the world. 100% of our funding comes from donations and the generosity of kind supporters such as Aspects Holidays, so on behalf of the whole Go Beyond team I’d like to extend an enormous thank you for raising these vital funds and for showing a Cornwall-based charity such wonderful support.”

Commercial Director for Aspects Holidays, Mandy Spencer, commented: “It’s a frightening statistic, how many children live in poverty or must face the challenges that for most of us seem unimaginable. There are children living in Cornwall, that unbelievably, haven’t ever visited the beach, let alone had the opportunities that Go Beyond provide, so I am delighted to be able to support this vital work and help just some children forge a happier life.”
