Be a part of one the Nation’s most fascinating competitions at the World Bellyboard Championships. Situated at Chapel Porth, a small cove between Porthtowan and St Agnes, the event is a laid-back and fun day out where participants of any age or ability can take part.

The World Belly Boarding Championships first began in 2002 as a memorial competition to a regular wooden-board surfer, Arthur Traveller and has grown from a handful of entrants to over 300 that are expected this year! The day is now organised and hosted by the National Trust and aims to bring together people with the same enthusiasm for this deep rooted tradition of riding ply and prone wooden surfboards.

This one-day event takes place on the 7th September 2014.
