We continue to support the Fal River Festival for 2012 and are pleased to tell you all about this year’s impressive line-up! On the 31st May, the MOBO award winning artist, Finley Quaye will be headlining at Falmouth’s Events Square and is followed by some fantastic arts, music and foodie events over the course of the festival.
Celebrating life on River Fal, the festival encompasses the places, people and cultures that surround this fantastic area of Cornwall. Some of the key events happening over the week include a Jubilee Garden Party at Gyllyngdune Gardens, a charity abseil down the Maritime Museum in Falmouth and a 1 mile open water swim between Pendennis Point and St Mawes Castle.
On the 3rd and 4th of June there will be another festival taking place which will form part of the 10 day event. The two day ‘Fal Fish Festival’ will be in aid of The Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen and will see theatre performances, fish auctions and cookery demonstrations from local chefs.
