Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.
So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.

I booked this apartment for one week and I was so happy that I decided to extend it for another week which was easily sorted with the help of the aspects holidays team.
The apartment its very nicely decorated, full of small details, everything is new and is very clean. You find all you need for a perfect stay ( including an hair dryer!).
The apartment its in perfect location, 5min away from the centre and the station and 2min away from a couple of supermarkets. The location allows you to have a more quiet atmosphere at the time of getting fab views of the port from the top floor bedroom! The apartment has 3 floors in total.
I would recommend this apartment and Aspects holidays as they provided a perfect service and with all information on arrival you can tell from the beginning that everything will be ok, very professional service!
Coming to St Ives was a last minute decision and I cant be happier as I really enjoyed the apartment, the atmosphere and friendly locals I met very welcome everyone!

Had a great few days in 4 Albert Terrace. Good location and cottage well maintained and comfortable. Everything there we could have needed. Bonus being able to sit up in bed and see the sea and harbour over the rooftops. Aspect Holidays proved a good service. Will be back!
Ms King Oct 2021
Lovely cottage in a prime location. Modern and fresh feel with good comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and good shower. Perfect for 2 to 4 people.
Mr Stamper Sep 2021
Good location and nice sea views from bed.
Mrs Mulligan Aug 2021
We are a family of 4 who had a fantastic stay at Albert Terrace. The fittings are lovely and everything is thought about (from Nespresso machine and milk frother to washing machine/tumble drier). The beds were really comfortable and bedding spotless.
The approach is via steep stairs and fairly uneven so I would say only suitable for older (age 5+) children. Close to walk to the harbour and easy to walk to all 3 main beaches.
Although some Covid restrictions still in place we enjoyed St Ives, and unlike our usual holidays we ate in/takeaways some meals. The house had everything we needed for this.
Mrs Robertson Jul 2021
Cosy, peaceful, good location, and great views of the harbour.
Mrs Gilmore Jul 2021
A lovely well equipped cottage in a central yet private location. Very comfortable beds. The quality appliances were very much appreciated and I found it a very enjoyable stay. Loved the light that filled the cottage and the stable door to let in the sunshine and fresh air. Ideal for two people or a small family. The steps to the cottage could present a problem for very young children or anyone with mobility issues.
Ms Smith May 2021
We loved our stay in 4 Albert Terrace. The house is cosy and well-appointed. Beds are really comfortable and the shower is great. Importantly it is located really close to the centre of things in St Ives which was a real bonus. The view over the harbour from the bedrooms is lovely.
Mr Doughty May 2021
The property is stunning and the view of the harbour is beautiful. The only thing we would say is the parking is a bit of a pain, but this is the case with most properties in this area and for value for money, this place is excellent. It is a 5/10 minute wasps from the harbour and is up a quiet and very safe feeling side road. A lovely stay, would definitely recommend

We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed this property. Parking is at a bit of a premium in St Ives, with many properties not having this facility. However, this property is only a 6-minute walk to Trenwith car park, which is the largest in St Ives and the one that generally has the best chance of having spaces available. It is an uphill walk to it from the property, but a nice down hill walk at the end of the day if you have been out and about exploring. There are also private parking facilities available which we would always be happy to advise you on if you are ever looking to return. It was great to hear how much you enjoyed this property, and we hope that we will see you back again soon. Tanya, Customer Services
We have just returned from our stay at Albert Terrace and had a wonderful time. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The location was great - easy quick walk into town centre and harbor / beaches. There is no on-site parking (not unusual for St Ives) but there is a council pay and display car park 5 - 10mins away (up a very steep hill). We had a great stay and would return again.
Mr Kershaw Nov 2020
We had a lovely week and a half at Albert Terrance in October, the house is well equipped and comfortably furnished - the 2 of us choose to use the top floor bedroom for the great view and huge bed. It's in a good location for quick walking access to the town, no on-site parking but there is a council car park 5mins away (up a very steep hill). Note that it is pay and display so we found the Cornwall Rover ticket purchased through their Just Park app to be the most cost effective option (still £50 for the week). Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the house.
Mr Bourne Oct 2020
Great stay in a beautiful little cottage, plenty of storage, very well appointed, slightly difficult access.
Mr McMechan Oct 2020
The property description is very accurate, there are a few steps up to the property which was fine for us, it's in a great location with lovely views and very well equipped for it's size, the bedroom on the first floor is a bit of a squeeze which is why we opted for the second floor, big comfy bed and a great view of the harbor. if you're concerned about parking, there is a council car park nearby and there is a Coop across the road for all your essentials. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
