A beautiful house about a one minute walk to the nearest beach and shops. We are a family of two adults and four children aged 4-12 years old and the house was perfectly big enough for us all for one week. I suspect we’ll be back again to the same house next year!

Lovely cottage , clean, well kept and really comfortable beds!!!! Ideal location

This is a lovely spot. It’s an excellent location close to the beach and the town. It gets the evening sun which made dinners in the kitchen even more special. Very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend.

A beautifully presented cottage with everything we needed. Excellent location close to restaurants and the beach. It felt like home by the end of the week and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back again soon

Overall a good experience, easy to book and in a good location. Would use Aspects again in future

We absolutely loved our stay at Happy Days Cottage. It was beyond expectations. Everything was perfect and the location is unbelievable.

Happy Days is a beautiful cottage in the most perfect location. We had such a wonderful break.

Such a lovely cottage, extremely well located. Definitely felt homely and we all settled in very quickly. Would definitely come again.

We had a lovely family mini break between Christmas and New Year in Happy Days cottage. Very comfortable and homely with everything you need for a home from home holiday in St Ives. Cottage is well located with car park at the end of the street and both harbour beach and porthmeor and porthgwidden only a 5 min stroll away.

Catalogue of issues from Day 1. Broken back door, several toilet blockages (a known problem which is not being rectified), boiler breakdown, electric sockets failure, total power loss, dishwasher fault. Tradesman in almost every day. Time wasted waiting around, organising visits and in exchanging e-mails and telephone calls.

Requested compensation. Aspects have been good communicators but should be leading the conversation on a resolution - instead seem to be suggesting it is an owner perogative. You are the property experts and I doubt if you have had many customers suffering to this extent. We've been coming to St Ives for well over 30 years and never experienced anything like it.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We were so sorry that you had experienced all these issues. Unfortunately, things can go wrong in properties from time to time, though it is not often that we hear of such a string of issues. And although we worked extremely hard with the owner to try and get everything rectified as soon as possible as soon as any issue was reported, we do appreciate that it will have been an inconvenience and disappointing after looking forward to your holiday for so long. As third-party agents, we are here to help advise the owners and act as a point of contact between both parties to try and get a resolution, so we do need the opportunity to discuss and agree compensation with the property owner. We are sorry that it took so long on this occasion, as we would always prefer to resolve such matters as swiftly as possible, but I hope that after our conversation, you are happy with how everything has been handled. We look forward to seeing you here in St Ives again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

This was our first trip away with our little boy after he was born last year during lockdown. Aspect Holidays were amazing, when it was cancelled due to covid-19 you were more than happy to help me when I needed to re-book it.

The property was incredible, we have been visiting St.Ives for years walking past cottages like this, it was so nice to be in one.

The rooms were lovely, clean and well presented. My wife & I loved the master bedroom and the second bedroom with the new shower room was brilliant.

We had everything we needed and more for our first week away as a family.

Beautiful Cottage, very comfortable to live in with everything you need, even a washing machine which is not mentioned. Perfect location for everything, the car park, all the beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants, all just steps away.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well equipped in a great location to enjoy everything St Ives has to offer. We would stay again.
