Sweltering sunny days, wave jumping in shallow waters, and toe-dipping in the golden sands on a balmy sundowner evening; Trenow Cottage is located just a few minutes' walk away from the sweeping sand of Perranuthnoe Beach. Sleeping four, with parking, Trenow Cottage makes long, lazy beach days simple for all the family, or a group of friends who wish to spend endless, summer days soaking up the sunshine or surfing the sometimes spectacular south coast swell. Enjoy a perfect conclusion to a summer's day, watching the symphony of colours as the sun sets over the ocean, before strolling back to this delightful cottage, in the heart of the coastal village of Perranuthnoe. Gather a medley of ingredients, from the nearby farm shop, and craft a home-cooked supper in the spacious kitchen, as you gather for an evening together, making plans for the next day's adventures. On the cooler evenings, hunker down in front of the amber flames of the woodburner with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand. When bedtime beckons, a restful night's sleep will await you within the cool, crisp linens, in the most comfortable beds. As dawn breaks in the winter months before the trees start to bloom, catch a glimpse of the sunrise over the sea through the trees from both the bedrooms, before a refreshing start to the day under the rainfall shower.

For a hearty breakfast, tasty lunch or an afternoon treat of Cornish coffee with delicious homemade cake, the Peppercorn Cafe is a short stroll from the cottage. Ideally located for keen ramblers, Perranuthnoe is perfectly positioned for such glorious coastal walks; you will be spoilt for choice. Take the path leading to neighbouring Marazion, just over a mile away, with the most breath-taking views of St Michael's Mount that you will never forget. Head in the other direction to Prussia Cove to spot of an occasional seal or go further to the long stretch of beach at Praa Sands, which is perfect for surfing too. The picturesque harbour of Porthleven is a short drive away and whether it's simply a Cornish ice cream overlooking the harbour or fine dining in the several restaurants you desire, you don't have to travel too far. Holidays in Perranuthnoe

Just a stone's throw from the stunning St Michael's Mount, Perranuthnoe is the neighbouring village to the old market town of Marazion. With a beautiful beach, and rocky headlands with many coves and rock pools to explore, Perranuthnoe is the perfect place to relax in a peaceful area of Cornwall.

Located in Mount's Bay, Perranuthnoe is perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy the serenity that Cornwall has to offer. Described as a countryside village by the sea, Peranuthnoe is secluded enough to ensure a peaceful stay, but close enough to the bustling town of Marazion if you fancy a more lively atmosphere. With the Lizard Peninsula within easy reach, Perranuthnoe is perfect for walking holidays and exploring the rugged coastline.

Did you know...

when the conditions are right, Perranuthnoe is a great place to surf!

Things to do in Perranuthnoe

Dating back to the 12th century, Perranuthnoe's village pub named the 'Victoria Inn' is thought to be the oldest recorded Inn in Cornwall. Full of charm and character, this award winning pub is well worth a visit.

A short walk from the pub is the picturesque Perranuthnoe Church, which is dedicated to Cornwall's patron saint, St Piran. The church stands on the site of a former church dating back to 1160, and includes features from the original church, such as a Norman font.

Perranuthnoe beach, (also known as Perran Sands) offers good surfing when the conditions are right, and is ideal for beach-goers with its golden sands, cafe and car park. Be sure to visit at low tide however as there is very little left of the beach when the tide comes in! The Cabin Cafe offers stunning views and is featured in our blog: The best beach-front cafes in West Cornwall.

A popular fishing spot, even at low tide, Perranuthnoe is a favoured spot with the locals for seabass and dogfish.

The 'Village Crafts' centre located in a converted barn in the heart of the village offers an extensive range of local artwork, crafts, gifts, jewellery, and country clothing.

The Perranuthnoe Circular walk follows part of the South West Coast Path, which offers great views of St Michael's Mount, before cutting inland and back to Perranuthnoe via fields and villages.

The nearby Prussia Cove is a small and secluded rocky cove, surrounded by organic farmland and woodland has a famous history of smuggling!

Great cottage in a wonderful friendly location. Comfy beds and large modern kitchen kitted out with everything you need to self cater. The two cafes and pub all do wonderful food. We would definitely stay again.

The location of the cottage is fantastic. Having never visited Perranuthnoe before what a lovely surprise to find such a beautiful beach just 5 minutes walk away! The cottage itself is spacious, clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and it's own parking space as an added bonus. Thank you to the owners for the fabulous welcome pack which was very generous and was indeed welcome after a long journey.

A week in the sunshine at perfect Perranuthoe; Trenow Cottage was a comfortable and very well equipped home from which to enjoy the local area.

We really enjoyed our week at Trenow cottage. It is a lovely place with easy parking. The beach is only 5 minutes walk, and main supermarkets less than 10 minutes drive at Long Rock. There is a nice walk to Trenow Cove with views to St Michaels Mount. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We loved our stay and will be booking a return visit! Very clean property, lovely thoughtful and considered welcome gifts/pack, including yummy treats and milk in the fridge. A really well looked after and maintained property. Comfy beds, lots of wardrobe space, variety of pillows and a great power shower. Fab location, basically half a hour each way to Lands End and the Lizard. Great info pack, really informative. Would recommend Aspects for really thorough communication from booking up to our stay. A few improvements for us - blackout blinds in the bedrooms (very bright mornings), window locks on upstairs windows for peace of mind with children. A more comfortable sofa for the evenings/bad weather days, but that’s us being picky! Mostly personal preference though, and won’t stop us booking again. We used to come to Cornwall every Easter, but haven’t been since pre-Covid. It was so lovely to be back!

We are so glad to hear how much you enjoyed your time here after a bit of time away from Cornwall. The owners certainly try to ensure that everything is provided for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, though it is always difficult with things like sofas as everyone's preference is different. Likewise with blinds/curtains; some love the morning light to wake up to and others prefer blackout blinds to keep the light out for as long as possible. Your feedback has been passed on to the owners for their consideration though, and we will continue to monitor for further comments. Thanks for taking the time to send in your comments, and we look forward to seeing you back in Cornwall again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

We had a great week staying at Trenow cottage, it has everything you need for a home away from home. The decor was tasteful and to a high standard, it was also really clean. The location was perfect, the beach and coastal path only a few minutes walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

Trenow Cottage is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. It is well equipped and very clean. There is a cafe down by the beach which sells very tasty food which we visited on several occasions. Out of peak times they open during the daytime and occasional evenings.

Quiet village with nice beach The cottage is in good condition

Really well appointed house with quality furnishings. Great location to explore the south west Cornish peninsular and only 5 minutes walk from the cliff path/lovely sandy bay and cafe.

Fantastic property in stunning location which made a perfect holiday. Furnishings and equipment were great with everything you need. The Penzance Aspects team were amazing and thoroughly recommend them.

A lovely home just moments away for a beautiful beach. The place was well decorated and thoroughly enjoyed by my family of four.

Nice kitchen with a big table allowed us to sit together and catch up, discuss plans and also offered another place to chill out.

A couple of minor issues were resolved so credit to the team at Aspects. I do hope the onwer fixes the downstairs w/c (no hot water so washing hands in cold water is not hygienic).

Perranuthnoe is a lovely little place in the South coast and this home is a great place for a small family to stay in.

Thank you for your helpful feedback. The owner has since had a water heater fitted in the downstairs toilet, so there is now a hot water supply in there. We are glad to hear that you had otherwise enjoyed your time here. Tanya, Customer Services

This is a delightful cosy cottage in a great location just a few minutes walk from the beach. It is very clean and well furnished. Traditionally built meant the interior was lovely and cool and when inside we hardly noticed the recent extreme heatwave. We had a great holiday here.

Had a wonderful week at Trenow cottage. Nice furnishings, well equipped, comfy bed and spacious shower room with added bonus of parking space . Lovely village, 5 minute walk to sandy beach , couple of excellent cafes & the local pub . Situated in a lovely part of Cornwall, lots of great coastal walks on your doorstep & we had the bonus of sunshine every day.

This is a lovely well-equipped cottage with a useful parking space just outside. It is in a great location, really nice village and beautiful beach. Very nice art and craft shops in the village and we enjoyed our visits to the cafe overlooking the beach and sea. Lovely walks in both directions along the coast path with wonderful views, especially over towards St Michael's Mount. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
