We loved Didley cottage! It was very light and spacious for a 2 bed cottage, with a nice, long garden, and beautifully decorated. It was also very clean and comfy- the beds were especially comfortable. We loved the bathroom, spotless and modern, and so nice to have a bath and not just a shower only. The kitchen , although fairly small, didn't seem it, as clever use was made of the space.

A big plus for us, without a car, was having the bus stop almost right outside in both directions, although parking is available for those who will be taking their car. Would definitely go back!

We loved the cottage and location. The cottage is on the main road to St Ives but traffic was not an issue and parking was easy with the allocated parking space around the corner. Porth Kidney beach is about a 15 minute walk away which is a fabulous location. Ease of access to other amenities is made easy with your car around the corner and no fear of losing your parking space. The train station is about a 10 minute walk away linking you to to Carbis Bay and St Ives, or Penzance in the opposite direction and then there is a bus stop on the main road just outside. The property has everything a couple or small family would need. Recently renovated, good central heating, wifi, good garden and a smart TV to suit everyone. Supermarkets and fast food is also on the doorstep and we would highly recommend Becks chippy about a 15 - 20 minute walk away. Whether you want the hustle and bustle of St Ives, cream teas and pasties, the picturesque coastal path, or the beautiful Cornish beaches none of it is too far away. Fantastic property, wonderfully presented, perfectly placed and already booked for another visit later in the year.

Didley Cottage (April 2021)

My family and I stayed here for a couple of days transiting between Scilly and the Midlands. We felt that the property had a great ambience and looked recently renovated. The kitchen had the majority of products which a couple or small family might need and the bathroom power shower had good pressure to it for a decent shower. Noise wasn't an issue despite being next to a main road, double glazing kept it quiet inside and no problems in the garden either. Garden was of a good size, nice lawn out back. Safe parking was on a nearby side road, but it was possible to stop out front temporarily for unloading luggage.

Overall we had a good time at Didley cottage and would consider staying there again.
