August 2019

Shoreline is a beautifully well thought out flat, recently and tastefully decorated and furnished with modern well made furniture and plenty of storage. The beds are very comfortable with fine white cotton bedding which I loved. The zip linked beds in bedroom 2 was very useful for us. When we weren't visiting St Ives, by train ( station close by) or other places, we would just sit outside and soak in the most beautiful views of Carbis bay, St Ives beyond, and the other was Godrevy lighthouse. It is my AVALON, right on the coastal path. PERFECT.

Tom Bawcock's Eve, Mousehole

The tradition of Tom Bawcock comes from the feast or famine lifestyle of Cornwall.  The story goes that it was just before Christmas; there had been no fish for weeks, the boats couldn’t get out into the raging storm, the village was starving. One man, Tom Bawcock, dared to take his boat out of the harbour’s safety. He returned with enough fish to make fish pie for the whole village.

Today, a festival takes place each year to celebrate Tom Bawcock's bravery. During the festival, Star Gazey pies are eaten in memory of this famous event.

Jul 2019

We are just home from a fantastic 2 weeks in sunny Cornwall at Shoreline. Fantastic flat, beautiful location and much bigger than you would think from the pictures. The flat was very well stocked with lots of handy things for the holiday, a real home from home. Once the bathroom is done up the flat will be spectacular, the shower was the only thing that was less than perfect. Highly recommend this flat, our family of 4 had a magic time and we had amazing weather too which was an added bonus.

Stunning place and beautifully equipped... outstanding views and location... shame about the lack of power in the shower... would be the only thing to manage and improve upon... We have serious holiday blues!!!

Thank you for your helpful comments. We are pleased to report that the owners are having a new bathroom fitted in November, including a more powerful shower. We hope this doesn't make it even more difficult to tear yourself away from here ;-) Tanya, Customer Services

The best view in Cornwall!! Great location - 5 minutes walk to the beach, or 3 minutes to the station. The trains to St Ives run each hour and were always exactly on time. The apartment was very well appointed, clean and comfortable, a real home-from-home. Everything we needed was there. A very relaxing stay.

Apr 2019

This is a fantastic property, with a wonderful view, and great location for St Ives (via very close by station) as well as the rest of Cornwall. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We honestly can’t think of a better location and can’t imagine what would have made the apartment itself any better.

Aug 2018

We loved the view and being so close to the beach and the coastal path. Carbis Bay is such a lovely, beautiful and clean beach. And - by far not so busy like St Ives. We‘d love to be back.
