Gllyngvase Beach can be reached just a short walk from the property through the stunning Gyllyngdune gardens and a brief stroll takes you to the south facing sea front with the quieter, sheltered Castle Beach. A short walk to the town offers a great choice of restaurants, pubs, bistro bars, shops and delis, while for the more adventurous, a brisk walk will take you around Pendennis Headland revealing the fascinating Pendennis Castle. To the west, a coastal path links to Swanpool, a favourite safe swimming beach flanked by a fresh water lake. An ideal all year round holiday destination!

Holidays in Falmouth enjoy the ideal holiday base to explore the area from, with many opportunities for ‘car free’ days out, enjoying transport links from Falmouth by bus, rail and boat. Visitors can take pleasure boat cruises around the Fal estuary or up the beautiful Helford River. Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week

Truro City of Lights

A festival of light delights the crowds who line the streets to see a parade of giant handmade lanterns. All manner of samba, brass and pipe bands process alongside, accompanied by flamboyant dancers.
