Cider Barn
Wadebridge

£474 - £1290 per week
Book

Cider Barn has undergone a professional, interior-design led renovation in 2020, to create a unique luxury bolthole for two. The stunning bespoke kitchen is well equipped with the latest appliances to rustle up gourmet suppers, and in summer, throw open the French doors to dine al-fresco in the cottage garden. On cooler evenings fire up the woodburner, cosy up on the super-comfy sofa, and stream your favourite box set to the 4k TV. When sleep calls, clamber up the 'Jack and Jill' ladder stairs and slide into the bespoke bed tucked under the eaves. The south-facing garden is wonderful for lazy days spent soaking up the Cornish sunshine or a relaxing retreat with a glass of bubbly after a busy day exploring.

Special attention has been paid to the durability and environmental impact of the renovation with local or British suppliers used wherever possible with inspiration taken from the colours on the Cornish Coast path and countryside. This area of North Cornwall has something to offer everyone. The local beaches are within a short drive where you can try out an array of water sports. The peace of Bodmin Moor is closeby for invigorating walks and horse rides. Bike the Camel Trail, walk the miles of coast path or indulge in wine tasting at the award-winning local vineyards. The activities on offer are endless. There are two well respected local pubs serving homemade food and locally brewed ales and cider, both within walking distance. For a special treat, experience the restaurants of celebrity chefs which are also near-by. Perfect for a romantic getaway for two or some well-deserved 'me-time' with your four-legged friend.

Our range of luxury cottages in Cornwall for that extra special holiday. Our Unique and Boutique cottages have been hand picked by our team as those that offer an extra special place for your holiday.

Can't recommend this barn enough. It's location is great on a quiet country lane, a 20 minute walk from the local pub and a 15 minute drive to the coast.

The barn itself is amazing with a very modern but cosy feel. The television is huge with Netflix access, the loaf sofa is comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped.

The bedroom is accessed by Jack and Jill steps and I'd imagine these would be a struggle for somebody with limited mobility. Once in the bedroom area there is limited roof space. I'm 5'8" and can just about stand up.

There was a welcome Hamper upon arrival which was very impressive. It was packed with farm shop goodies including wine, bread, biscuits. Our dog even had a goody bag along with a new toy!

Overall a great holiday and I would definitely return.

July 2021

The Cider Barn is a quirky little cottage that is tastefully decorated and is so modern. It has everything - fantastic bathroom with an awesome bath and shower. Brilliant kitchen with every appliance and utensil. The lounge/dining area was great with a large comfy sofa and a large dining table with fixed bench seating. You had the advantage of watching TV or the view of the garden. Access to the garden was perfect so we could keep an eye our dog. It was very safe and the garden was well maintained. The welcome pack was fantastic. Lots of lovely touches too like the doggy welcome bag. We loved staying there.

The Cider Barn is beautiful and so well equip. The hamper was amazing filled with goodies from the farm shop including jam, cheese, eggs, crisps, apple juice to name but a few! The sound systems amazing and the WiFi super fast. The little garden is lovely too and we had a visitor every morning and evening….a robin. He loved his scones, bread and cheese. I would definitely recommend this accommodation it’s in a perfect position to visit lots of beautiful places, Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle.

Beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped hideaway for two with a wonderful slipper bath to soak in after a hard day on the beach!!! A very high standard of accommodation. Plus, the most impressive welcome hamper we've ever had, filled with lots of locally sourced goodies from the near by farm shop .... unbelievable olives and a bottle of Gin .... it doesn't get any better than that!!

Just watch your head in the mezzanine bedroom, its a very low ceiling, so not ideal if you're particularly tall or claustrophobic.
