Right near the heart of town and within walking distance of all the beaches and local amenities, Sunny Side is a lovely family home for enjoying a staycation in this popular seaside town. Sleeping up to five guests with comfortable furnishings you can enjoy relaxing on the plush sofas or dining together as a family. With a tiered decked garden at the rear catching the sun on a summer's day and storage for all your beach gear, Sunny Side is ideal for surf and sun seekers. Newquay has a vast array of delis, bakeries, and cafes with an abundance of culinary delights to be enjoyed.

With world renowned beaches and miles of coastal walks to explore, there is no shortage of things to do and places to see. If you want to head further afield, there is parking provided so you can head out and explore Cornwall, before heading back to Sunny Side to recharge your batteries ready for another fun filled day.

terrace with bistro set, tiered decked area with table and seating for five, shed with chest freezer.

Additional information

gas cental heating, please note that there is no microwave at the property, there is also a lip onto the parking space, so care must be taken and the parking may not be suitable for low vehicles, WiFi, one dog welcome.

Holidays in Newquay

Newquay is all about stunning scenery, beaches, and the waves. Being the surf capital of the UK, you’ll find an abundance of surf shops and schools allowing you to immerse yourself in the surfing culture from the moment you arrive.

However, if surfing isn’t for you, there’s plenty of ways to fill the days while staying in Newquay. Head to one of the many beaches for a family day on the sand - picture rock pooling, picnics and sandy toes! If you fancy a bit of retail therapy, the bustling town has a selection of independent shops selling an array of goods including clothes, artwork and delightful handmade treats. 

Newquay also has a selection of attractions perfect for the kids (and big kids) of the family! Spend a day at Newquay Zoo, visit Blue Reef Aquarium, board the trains at Lappa Valley, feed the animals at Dairyland or travel back in time at Trerice Manor House.

Surfing

Regarded as the home of the UK’s surf scene, and offering consistently good surf throughout the year, Newquay is great place to surf whether you’re a first-timer or seasoned pro. Beaches

When staying at a holiday cottage in Newquay, you won’t be short of beaches to choose from, with nine sandy beaches on the doorstep. All of Newquay’s beaches are lifeguarded in the summer, providing a safe place to spend the day soaking up the sun.  

Watergate Bay and Fistral beach welcome dogs all year round, making Newquay an ideal location to spend a week with your four legged friend.

Attractions in Newquay

With such an abundance of attractions in and around Newquay, it’s the perfect place for a family holiday at any time of year. Newquay Zoo offers a great day out at any time of year, as do the nearby Screech Owl Sanctuary, and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Holywell Bay Fun Park provides guaranteed fun for the family whatever the weather.

If you fancy something a bit different, fishing trips and sea safaris are available, from which you can take in the scenery from a different angle. You may even be lucky enough to catch a sight of seals and dolphins!

Newquay’s links golf course overlooks Fistral beach and is regarded as one of the best golf courses in the county, providing a different challenge everyday depending on the weather.
