St Piran's Day, celebrated on March 5th, is the national day of Cornwall, named after one of Cornwall's patron saints. He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting.

We had a lovely stay at Bay cottage. Perfect position for the beach and town . It was home from home .
Ms Greedy Oct 2019
The property was perfect for our stay and just as described. Parking was a bit of an issue as we had two vehicles, personally I felt that two vehicles would be able to park there just fine, unfortunately the neighbours didn't agree! We ended up getting a county wide Rover permit, it cost £50 and lets you park on most council run car parks check the list of car parks before parking!

We had a lovely stay at Bay Cottage.
The cottage is very spacious and homely. The garden is lovely but we didn’t make as much use of it as we’d have liked due to the weather.
The cottage is well kept and was very clean on arrival. The kitchen had everything required to cook & serve meals.
The location is in a quiet cul-de-sac, with friendly neighbours. It’s a short walk to Fistral Beach and a good base to explore Cornwall from.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bay Cottage to others and would happily return in the future.
