Gool Perran Lowen - Happy St Piran's Day in Cornish!
St Piran's Day, celebrated on March 5th, is the national day of Cornwall, named after one of Cornwall's patron saints. According to legend, St Piran, a 5th century Irish Abbot, was thrown into the sea in Ireland tied to a mill stone; somehow he washed up on the Cornish coast still alive. He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting.
Today, Cornwall still celebrates St Piran's Day, with various celebrations held across Cornwall.

We are glad that you enjoyed the fantastic location of this property. Unless we state otherwise, there is generally only one average sized parking space per property, where parking is advertised, and although there is a pay and display car park next to these apartments, providing a convenient solution for those with more than 1 car; it can fill up very quickly at certain times of the year, especially (as you experienced) during boardmasters festival. We hope that you managed to find a good alternative during your stay and that this didn't cause too much of a problem for you all. Thanks for your feedback and we hope to see you back here soon.
