Fantastic holiday let. Everything had been well thought out, spotlessly clean. Close to the unspoilt beach at Mawgan Porth, we did follow the coastal path to the beach, however this may not be suitable for elderly. Coming back is very steep. Travellers rest pub a few minutes away is great for meals and takeaway service. We shall return to the area.

Mawgan Porth holidays

With lifeguards during the summer, and dogs allowed all year on the beach, the whole family will be able to enjoy sunny days on the sand. From sunbathing and swimming, to rock pooling and body boarding, there’s something for everyone.

St Pirans Day Celebrations

Gool Perran Lowen - Happy St Piran's Day in Cornish!

St Piran's Day, celebrated on March 5th, is the national day of Cornwall, named after one of Cornwall's patron saints. According to legend, St Piran, a 5th century Irish Abbot, was thrown into the sea in Ireland tied to a mill stone; somehow he washed up on the Cornish coast still alive. He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting.

Today, Cornwall still celebrates St Piran's Day, with various celebrations held across Cornwall.

Lovely house and great location. There wasn’t anything needed that the house didn’t have.

Aug 2020

A beautiful property in an excellent location. The house was perfect for our two families due to the split level accommodation. It had everything we needed and more. A home away from home. The welcome package was a lovely touch too. The large garden was great for the children to play and a lovely decking area for BBQs and outside dining. There were lots of places to visit close by and some of the most beautiful beaches. A wonderful holiday. Thank You and we would definitely come back here again x

Aug 2020

Ideal location for exploring the local area. Excellent accommodation and large enclosed garden making it safe for young children. Able to use the facilities at the nearby Trevarian holiday park, swimming and ten pin bowling have a small charge but well worth it. Highly recommended.
