Reverse living truly makes the most of the stunning views from the open plan living space and with sumptuous beds to sink into after a day exploring, Pepperbox offers up to seven guests an opulent base for a sea side holiday. With an enclosed garden to enjoy on a summer's day and only 400 yards to the beach, this is definitely a holiday home to remember.

Sit on the balcony and take in the stunning views, or take the short walk to Mawgan Porth to find a selection of places to enjoy a bite to eat. With parking for two cars, you can take the coastal road reaching further afield to nearby Padstow, Watergate Bay or Newquay. With dogs welcome, the whole family can spend some quality time together in this fabulous part of the Cornish coast.

We had a perfect holiday, loved everything about Pepperpot, decor was inspiring, equipment was second to none which is rare, the diffusers were exquisite, I need to know what they were as I forgot to check! Cleanliness second to none. Beds were sooo comfortable, linen and towels were soft and .... well just gorgeous! Can’t fault anything. We had such a relaxing lovely holiday, and so did our pooch! Views were stunning, will be returning! Don’t hesitate to book, I certainly will be.

Mawgan Porth holidays

Located on the rugged north coast with a large sandy beach, Mawgan Porth is perfect for a restful holiday in a quiet setting away from the busier nearby towns. Just a stone’s throw from the beach you’ll find a café, pub, restaurant and fish and chip shop, so you can grab some food after a long day at the beach. 

Beaches

This west facing beach is sheltered by high cliffs on either side and even at high tide there’s plenty of room for everyone. With lifeguards during the summer, and dogs allowed all year on the beach, the whole family will be able to enjoy sunny days on the sand. From sunbathing and swimming, to rock pooling and body boarding, there’s something for everyone.

Walks

Take the coastal path north from Mawgan Porth to head to Padstow, and south to visit Newquay. Pop on your walking shoes and take in the spectacular views as you ramble the South West Coast Path.

Bude Lifeboat Week includes a range of activities  and events, including quizzes, a children’s disco, live music, a craft fair and, on Lifeboat Day (28th) and search and rescue demonstration, a beach treasure hunt, rowing races, canoe polo, a pasty competition and more!

Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm are hosting the only Christmas market in Cornwall which is set on a working farm. Santa by Steam

Join Santa and his elves aboard his magical steam train as you journey through the Cornish countryside. Awaiting Santa on the platform, you'll be entertained with carols performed by Liskeard band. On the hour long journey, children will get to meet and greet Santa, recieve a present and have their photograph taken. The grown-ups aren't forgotten either - you'll recieve a mince pie and seasonal drink!

Padstow Christmas Festival

Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and Nathan Outlaw will be flying the flag for Cornwall at this year’s 10th annual Padstow Christmas Festival. For your chance to see chef demonstartions, head to the festival stage or to the Sharp's Chefs' Theatre - the demonstartions are all free to attend!

Why not make the most of your visit to Padstow and pop into the Chrsitmas market where you will find an array of food goodies and handmade gifts to purchase. There will also be a selection of live music to enjoy, and you can take the children to meet Santa in his grotto!

Santa at Lappa Valley Steam Railway

Board the Santa Express  bound for Santa's magical grotto. On selected dates between the 8th and 24th December, children and their families can take a ride on the Santa Train to his grotto where they can receive a gift from Santa. There will also be children's entertainment, balloon making, Christmas card colouring and mince pies and mulled wine for the adults!

St Pirans Day Celebrations

Gool Perran Lowen - Happy St Piran's Day in Cornish! 

St Piran's Day, celebrated on March 5th, is the national day of Cornwall, named after one of Cornwall's patron saints. According to legend, St Piran, a 5th century Irish Abbot, was thrown into the sea in Ireland tied to a mill stone; somehow he washed up on the Cornish coast still alive. He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting. 

Today, Cornwall still celebrates his heritage. On the closest Sunday to St Piran's day, Perranorth hosts one of the largest St Piran's celebrations. Held at the dunes on Perranporth, a play is performed to re-enact St Piran's life. Spectators are welcomed and encouraged to dress in black, white and gold, the colours of Cornwall. 

Other celebrations will be held in various locations across Cornwall.

Boscastle Walking Week

Boscastle Walking Week is an annual event which has grown in popularity over the years. Organised by local people with local knowledge, everyone is welcome to join the organised walks for a small fee of £3-£5.  You'll be guided on some of the most beautiful walks along the Cornish coastline, amid woods and streams and on rambles to secluded waterfalls. Celebrate the history of this stunning scenery as you learn about the famous author Thomas Hardy, who spent a year living in the area.

Padstow 'Obby Oss' Festival

A colourful tradition that takes place on the first day in May in the quaint harbour town of Padstow. The locals decorate the town with flags, flowers, greenery and a flagpole. The crowds are greeted by the swirling and dancing 'osses' who parade through the town, followed by the 'Teazer' who dances along behind. 

Expect lots of dancing, singing and performance.
