Our range of luxury cottages in Cornwall for that extra special holiday. Our Unique and Boutique cottages have been hand picked by our team as those that offer an extra special place for your holiday.

We have booked with Aspects every year for the last 5 years, without a doubt Songbirds is the best accommodation we have stayed in. Due to our own renovation project we stayed over Christmas, and the house was perfect. Songbirds is a stunning property unlike any other we have stayed in, the love and attention to detail afforded, makes it a real home from home. Every part of the house oozes luxury. I fell in love with the kitchen, relaxed on the sumptuous sofa whilst my 5 and 7 year olds delighted in their elevated den. Everything was just perfect and Rory was an amazing and accommodating host. Five (wish I could award six) stars throughout.

Mr Atkinson

Fancy a sneak preview? View our Bude webcam here>

Crooklets Beach

At low tide, a large expanse of golden sand is exposed, along with rocky outcrops which are great for rock pooling. The beach can be reached by a short walk over Summerleaze Down or down the hill from the town centre. Crooklets is very popular with surfers, but also perfect for families, with great facilities including a large car park, beach café, skate park, showers, and pubs close by. Dogs welcomed from October to Easter only.

Summerleaze Beach

Boasting the iconic Sea Pool, and only a five minute walk from the centre of Bude, Summerleaze Beach is Bude’s central hub of sand, surf and sun. It’s the first port of call for many visitors. Clean, safe and easy on the eye, Summerleaze Beach is a big hit with surfers, sun-bathers and families. However, it is the sheer variety of activities that mark Summerleaze as arguably one of the best beaches in Cornwall for outdoor pursuits and water sports. Dogs welcomed on leads from May to September and off the lead any time after this!

Widemouth Bay Beach

Stretching across one and a half miles of golden sands, Widemouth Bay is divided into two halves, the North beach and the South beach, separated by a natural barrier of rock known as Black Rock. As the tide retreats, amazing rock formations are exposed - perfect for rock-pooling!

Northcott Mouth Beach

Three miles North of Bude, is the small rocky beach Northcott Mouth, owmed by the National Trust. As the tide drops, the beach opens up to expansive sand with rock pools dotted all around - perfect for exploring. Dogs welcomed all year round.

Sandymouth Beach

Four miles North of Bude is the National Trust beach, Sandymouth. Backed by sweeping cliffs, this large sandy beach is popular all year round, especially with dog owners as it welcomes dogs year round.

St Pirans Day Celebrations

Gool Perran Lowen - Happy St Piran's Day in Cornish!

St Piran's Day, celebrated on March 5th, is the natonal day of Cornwall, named after one of Cornwall's patron saints. According to legend, St Piran, a 5th century Irish Abbot, was thrown into the sea in Ireland tied to a mill stone; somehow he washed up on the Cornish coast still alive. He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting.

Today, Cornwall still celerbates his heritage. On the closest Sunday to St Piran's day, Perranorth hosts one of the largest St Piran's celebrations. Held at the dunes on Perranporth, a play is performed to re-enact St Piran's life. Spectatotrs are welcomed and encouraged to dress in black, white and gold, the colours of Cornwall.

Other celebrations will be held in various locations across Cornwall.
