Family friendly holidays

When choosing a holiday cottage it's important to make sure it meets your requirements when it comes to catering for a family holiday. Many of our family friendly cottages include baths, bunk beds, twin beds or outside spaces, as well as a selection of things to keep the the kids entertained, such as board games, books, video games, and WiFi. Some even include a swimming pool; perfect if the sea is too cold! Some properties have children’s play areas nearby too.

Many of our cottages are in great locations, which helps you to make the most of your stay. Many are within easy reach of popular beaches, tourist destinations and family-friendly attractions, so you won’t be left wondering where to take the kids on a day out.

As pets are part of the family, many of our family friendly cottages are also pet friendly, allowing you to bring along your four-legged friend, meaning you can enjoy holiday without the worry of leaving them behind.

For families with babies, a selection of our family friendly cottages are also baby-friendly, with many providing stair gates, cots, and high chairs. For those that do not provide these, local company Star Linen Hire will deliver any items you may need prior to your arrival, enabling you to focus on your family-time from the moment you arrive. It also means you won’t have to bring it all with you! Baby sitting services are also available if needed, with local companies providing this service.

Please note: Babies stay in the cottage free of charge if using a travel cot. However, if they occupy a bed in the property they will be charged for.

While all our family friendly cottages welcome families, certain cottages may be more suitable than others. It’s worth checking with us prior to booking, and if you have any special requirements, you can call us on 01736 754 242 and we’ll be more than happy to help.
