We have been coming to St Ives for 40 years. The apartment is the best we have ever stayed at; it’s extremely clean, comfortable and with a huge balcony overlooking the bay view and harbour. The free parking space is very useful but, on occasions, we walked into town and caught a bus back up the hill. We just couldn’t find any fault with the apartment. We will definitely return.

Many of our holiday cottages in Porthminster boast magnificent sea views and are mere moments from the soft sands and turquoise waters of the beach. Whilst the vibrant heart of St Ives harbourside is just a short walk away. Porthminster is perfectly placed for an unforgettable family holiday by the sea. Read more about holidays in St Ives here.
Indulge in lunch with a view at Porthminster Beach Cafe.

The Lower Deck, Morwenstow 6. 15-24 June 2024.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short holiday, and the apartment is fabulous and was sparkling clean. The view to the harbour from the bed is a real treat. The bi-fold windows allow easy access to the huge balcony which has a good table and chairs to sit and soak up the sea, the sky and views. It gets early morning and evening sun. Steep path down to town which may get slippery in the wet, and the walk back up via the road is easier but still steep. We got fitter… TV is not a smart one. Take eye shades as the curtains do not have black-out linings. Ask Aspects how to operate the blind in the Velux. Use the bus - the stop is almost outside. Recommend open top bus to Lands End but endless places to visit by bus or train as parking in Cornwall is not easy particularly in the high season. Enjoy!
