Additional information

Parking for one small car, please note that parking is next to another property's space in an enclosed bay so there is a possibility it can be tight, the width of the whole bay which includes the other space is 426.72cm wide - we would therefore ask you not to park your car in this space if it is wider than 170.18cm. Please note that the fridge does not have an ice box, please also note that the property is accessed via steep steps from the parking area, gas central heating. The hill to the beach is steep and may not be suitable for elderly or people with limited mobility, WiFi, short breaks available.

 
 

Beautiful open plan flat. Lovely views, own parking space and great outdoor space to bbq or bask in the sunshine. The porthminster beach is a stones throw away from the property. I have stayed in this property for years and never had a bad word to say.

We know how important honest reviews are when it comes to booking your holiday. To help you choose the right property for you, we publish all reviews left by guests who have stayed here in the past, with the few exceptions stated in our Review Guidelines. The property smelt of damp throughout and required a complete makeover. It was very disappointing in all aspects. 1. Mouldy lounge carpet which was badly worn. 2. Food between cushions on leather settee also mould on sides and front. 3. Patio had many weeds coming through with dead potted plants. Completely neglected. 4. Inner porch door covered in fingerprints and worn paint which was most uninviting. 5. No knife sharp enough to cut bread. 6. Cooker door covered with last residents food, obviously not been cleaned for our stay. 7. No decent or matching glasses, obviously bought up randomly. 8. Grouting on bathroom floor mouldy and loose. 9. Outdoor area covered in moss/slime, we had to keep bedroom blinds shut throughout as room looked out onto this. It also had been liberally dosed in what smelt like bleach. 10. Car parking space was more suitable for two motorcycles rather than two cars. Photographic evidence can be supplied backing up the above observations.

We are sorry that several aspects of the property fell short for you. Due to our location on the coast, and the fact we experience warm and humid conditions, older properties can be susceptible to a damp smell. We find that airing the property can really help with this and lessen any smells within a few days. We will certainly keep an eye on feedback regarding this moving forward. We would have been more than happy to get the housekeeping points and outside area sorted for you during your stay, had we heard from you at the time, but we can only apologise if any areas had been missed before your arrival. We know just how important parking is when staying in St Ives, so try to make dimensions for the one parking space as clear as possible on the property description, as the space is in a shared parking spot. We hope that you agree that the space is still a great advantage! Draycott Terrace is a great location, clean inside modern kitchen everything you need. 5mins walk down hill to beach. 10 min walk into town. Lovely view of the ocean. Kids bedroom can get cold though family's beware large car Kuga will not fit in parking space for Draycott Terrace beware of wild animals outside with young children I know it cant be helped.

Absolutely fantastic location! Beautiful views from the balcony.. (you also get the sun shining on the balcony all morning and in the evening!! 100% would recommend. Thank you Aspect Holidays????

Its a lovely flat ! view is to die for Great location ! Bit of a hike up the hill back from the beach but well worth it! You didn’t get any sun at all on the front or the back maybe it was the time of year maybe it’s different when the Sun is higher! I would strongly suggest you get a freezer a small one put in to accommodate people wanting to take ice packs to the beach and keep frozen food ! Most importantly cold drinks on hot days with ice ! as people don’t want to go out every single night! Otherwise fantastic place lovely accommodation comfortable

This is a great property, tastefully decorated and with stunning views. It is a peaceful location within easy walking distance of the town. There is a steep incline on return. Parking is tight and requires reversing in from a busy road. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

An excellent spacious apartment vith views of Porthminster Beach. And a short walk into St. Ives. Would recommend to family and friends.

The apartment is stunning, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for the beach and walking to and from town. Great to have parking too.

A great week again with Aspects, a couple of issues we had, were resolved very quickly and efficiently. There service is five Star, would sure to recommend them. Lovely spacious apartment, very comfy with everything we needed, beautiful views, and only a short walk to Portminster beach. The only negative was the parking, very small space provided for two cars. Although we wouldn't hestitate to book this apartment again.

A fantastic stay once again with Aspects. From collection our keys to the stay in out apartment everything was brilliant! Our apartment was perfect for a family of 4. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The outdoor seating was an added bonus and had amazing views over Porthminster beach. Great location and lovely property! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Flat 1, 14 Draycott Terrace. Beautiful setting and so close to beautiful beaches and the harbour and the apartment was exceptionally clean and roomy. It is accessed via steep steps, so I would recommend packing smaller bags and not heavy suitcases!

We enjoyed our stay in 2017 we decided to come back and stay at 14 Draycott Terrace again. Great location for Porthminster beach. Very comfy flat spacious and clean. Loved sitting on the terrace for hours on end looking out to sea. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in St Ives

Lovely position with fantastic view and a short walk down to the beach Not ideal for anyone with disabilities as the walk back up from the beach is quite steep and long A couple of little bits regards to the property weren’t amazing but on a whole we had a great family holiday!

A fantastic apartment with a truly wonderful view. St. Ives is the stunning setting for our annual extended family holiday. The family have stayed in literally hundreds of properties within the town over recent decades. All were very impressed when they visited our apartment. The apartment was very practical, in a great location and we would definitely love to use it again!

We liked where we stayed very much,it was kept very clean and was very spacious. It was also close to porthminster beach which is a big and clean with clear sea water.
