Beachside is a cosy two bedroom apartment nestled in the heart of St Ives, in one of the best locations possible, literally only a few paces from the incredible Porthmeor beach. There's no need to struggle lugging all your gear to the beach, as you're already there!! Once you've set up camp, you can nip back as often as you please! It has recently been transformed to create an enviable coastal retreat and even boasts a parking space, right outside the front door. The property has been tastefully styled and even offers comfortable robes to relax in, after a hard day of chilling out.

As you can imagine, you are a short walk away from anything you might need, including all the bars and restaurants of the town. Beachside will be perfect for small families or couples alike.

3/4 size bath with shower over, WC, basin, (please note that there is a step to the WC).

Additional information

gas central heating. You will need to drive up the curb to get into the parking space which is 10ft x 19ft, it may also be best to reverse park into this, which may be difficult for some, please refer to photos. WiFi, short breaks available.

 

Beach side is a wonderful little property, really cosy but large enough to not feel cramped. Location is perfect for using the beach and exploring the town. Having a parking space makes exploring the wider area so much easier!

The apartment is in the best location. A few steps from the beach and only minutes walk into town.
It is a cosy comfortable apartment suitable for a family of four. It is fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Lovely decor and finishing touches. The parking space is an added bonus, just be carful as it’s a big step you have to pull up on.

Most of the town and all it has to offer is a level walk from Porthmeor, making it many of our guests' first choice of location. Many Porthmeor properties offer parking and most have superb beach views and balconies.

St Ives Feast Day

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.

Beachside is such a lovely property. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the fluffy white towels were better than hotel standard! The parking space is a definite bonus and makes the location of this property even more attractive. Given it's location to the beach and likely use by families/couples who want to surf, there isn't an outside space and this isn't obvious from the description. We made do with hanging wetsuits outside the front of the properly but a few hooks (rather than using the signs!) would make this much easier! We would definitely stay here again, great property and the beach being seconds away made this such an attractive property.

St Ives is a beautiful, picturesque town, but with its origin as an old fishing town, there are many traditional fishermans cottages that do not have parking or outside space. Whilst Beachside has the excellent benefit of the parking, we do not advertise outside space at this property. We are really sorry if this is not clear enough. If ever you are looking to return, if you tick the box for outside space on the website, this will just display those that have that facility; or call up our sales team, who would be very happy to help advise you. Beachside is a lovely ground floor apartment on Porthmeor Beach. The location of this property is second to none - it's on the beach and 5 minutes from the harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. It's small but cosy and very well laid out. The only negatives was the bathroom which does need a makeover and the microwave needs replacing. This did not spoil our holiday and we had a wonderful stay at Beachside.
