The Hay Loft, adorned with a cosy wood-burning stove, offers a snug retreat where evenings are filled with warmth and tranquillity. A luxurious king size bed promises restful nights, ensuring that each moment spent here becomes a cherished memory. Outside, the enclosed garden provides a haven for furry companions, offering space for them to frolic freely or take a shower at the dog wash station, while a private hot tub invites you to indulge under the starry skies.

Swimming pool

heated pool with a continuous max depth of 120cm, ideal for both competent swimmers to enjoy a few lengths right through to those who are just starting to swim. Overall pool dimensions are 7.5 x 2.9 metres. Water is heated to approx 28-29 degrees.

Additional information

the pool house is a shared facility alongside The Old Dairy and The Corner Cottage. Heated swimming pool from May 1st until the end of September, WiFi, well behaved , house trained dogs are very welcome, short breaks available.

Days out

The many golden sandy beaches that West Cornwall boasts are perfect for topping up the tan. For something a little more energetic, boat trips, fishing excursions and water sports are available. Museums and art galleries provide an equally enjoyable day out, with world famous exhibitions at the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth museum within easy reach.

Walking

Cornwall's spectacular scenery provides the perfect backdrop for exploring. The coastal paths which hug the rugged cliffs offer breath taking sea views, while walking inland you can enjoy the many nature reserves, ancient stone circles and woodland, for which Cornwall is renowned.

Every year, the people of Mousehole celebrate the bravery of Tom Bawcock. Years ago, when the boats couldn't get out in the storms, the villages had no fish to eat. Tom dared to take his boat out and returned with enough fish to make a Star Gazey fish pie for the whole village.
