Mr Mills October 2020
The apartment is stunning and views are incredible. I already miss walking into the kitchen to that view every morning! The only thing that would stop us from going back would be the lack of parking and the fact you rely on getting a space in the pay and display car park every day which meant that we were hesitant to go and explore other places as we had a few really stressful experiences trying to find a space and getting stuck in those narrow roads. But this had nothing to do with the apartment as such. If you are happy to go, park up and just stick to mousehole then there would be no stress. We just found mousehole a little on the small side which is fully our own issue for not realising how tiny it is! That being said we were more than happy to stay in the apartment, it’s so beautiful and feels like you’re outside with all the natural light and so many windows. I would 100% recommend the apartment but as already mentioned, Mousehole itself was maybe a little quite for us. We had an issue with the bath leaking on the first night but this was very quickly resolved the following day and the members of staff I spoke to to let them know, were all really helpful and friendly. If you want to go to Mousehole, I can’t imagine a better property to stay at. We really do miss it already!

Walks around Mousehole
For those who are not so content with staying in their holiday homes, the walks around Mousehole are a joy all year round. There are some fabulous circular walks but we think there's something particularly satisfying about catching a bus from Mousehole and walking back in (especially if your walk exits the village in a north of westerly direction; you'll soon discover the town is nestled at the bottom of a very steep hill!) Read our blog on Mousehole Walks.

Today Mousehole is beautiful and welcoming holiday destination This popular holiday destination has seen more than its fair share of hardtimes tragedy over the years.
The Quay was built in 1392, holding the harbour like a pair of protective arms. Fishing was always important to Mousehole. These days there are fewer boats fishing from the village but there is an active fishing fleet operating out of nearby Newlyn, a town worth a visit on its own account. Read more about the History of Mousehole on our blog.

The tradition of Tom Bawcock comes from the feast or famine lifestyle of Cornwall. The story goes that it was just before Christmas; there had been no fish for weeks, the boats couldn’t get out into the raging storm, the village was starving. One man, Tom Bawcock, dared to take his boat out of the harbour’s safety. He returned with enough fish to make fish pie for the whole village.
Today, a festival takes place each year to celebrate Tom Bawcock's bravery. During the festival, Star Gazey pies are eaten in memory of this famous event.

Very well appointed apartment in a fantastic location. Pity there was no outside area to sit in but hey ho you can't have everything. View over the harbour to die for.
Mrs Tebbutt Sep 2020
Aspects were fantastic from start to finish. We stayed at st Clements ( lobster pot) and it was stunning, so much so that we’ve booked for next year, loved it.
Mrs Hoff Sep 2020
We had a fantastic stay. The location is incredible, overlooking the harbour at the boats and the sea. The apartment is roomy and very well equipped and is a peaceful place to be if the weather is not so great, with some games and books to enjoy. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms nice and modern. We will definitely be coming back!
Mr Congdon Sep 2020
Stunning apartment with amazing views in beautiful Mousehole.Totally recommended-we will be back next year. Many thanks to the Aspects team-the flat was spotless.
Mr Fellows Sep 2020
This is the perfect place to rent in the winter months when you don't need an outside space but want a sea view; it's warm and cosy and the views are truly magnificent. It absolutely lives up to the photographs on the website. I'd go back in the blink of an eye.
Miss Williams Feb 2020
If you want sea and harbour views, comfort, good kitchen and bathroom facilities and a lovely light filled place to start your day, this place is for you.
Ms Jodko-Narkiewicz Jan 2020
Beautiful apartment with views out of this world. This year it rained most of the week. No problem we just made more use of the beautiful apartment.
Watching the waves crashing on St Clement's Island was truly fantastic.
Aspect staff always willing to help if you need anything.

I would find it hard to believe that there is a holiday cottage in Cornwall that offers a more perfect combination of comfort, equipment and location than St. Clements. But then, I am biased. I first stayed at The Lobster Pot some 49 years ago, and it has been in and out of my life through many of the intervening years. When I first stayed at The Pot it was an eccentric establishment of two storeys, but, having been cobbled together out of two or three small cottages, there must have been at least six floor levels as one passed from cottage to cottage. The second floor, which now forms St. Clements, was not added until the 1980s, if I remember correctly, but that gives it the advantage of being all on a single level, which means that the conversion into the present apartment works exceedingly well. It is so comfortable and well equipped that on a dull, wet and windy day, such as the Monday of the week I stayed here, it is no hardship to stay put, potter and watch the world go by. When the weather is more amenable St. Clements is ideally placed for walking, and the circular route along the Coast Path to Lamorna (much eroded since I first knew it) and back via Castallack, Sheffield and Paul is just the thing to set you up for a good lunch or tea! These days I travel from my home in the Yorkshire Dales by train and getting about from Mousehole is no problem with buses to Penzance very twenty minutes, or an hour's walk to Penzance railway station.
Mr Lightfoot Oct 2019
What a beautiful apartment in a fabulous location. We loved Mousehole, especially watching the sunrise over the harbour. I don’t think I’d like to stay anywhere else. This was the perfect apartment and would definitely return.
Mrs Simkins Oct 2019
One of the best apartments we have stayed in, position was perfect, the views from the kitchen and lounge second to none, we will be back Graham Button
Mr Button Sep 2019
A fabulous place, fantastic location with the view over the harbour. The house was really comfy and relaxing and would definitely stay there again...the wife would like to buy it if she could lol...!
Mr Hewitt Aug 2019
Aspects holidays perfect in every way great to deal with
Mrs Butler Jul 2019
This was our third stay at St Clements and again, we loved every minute of our holiday. From the ease of booking with Aspects Holidays to the detailed arrival information/pack. The stunning apartment enjoys the most amazing views out to sea and around the beautiful harbour of Mousehole. The apartment is incredibly well presented and furnished with high end, quality appliances and furniture throughout. St Clements is spotlessly clean, with everything you could ever possibly need during your stay. There's a detailed pack in the apartment with instructions for all the white goods and appliances at St Clements, along with suggested places to visit and eat. We ate locally most nights and can highly recommend 2 Fore St (booking essential), Rock Pool Cafe (the most amazing views from here) and Four Teas Cafe. We also recommend walking from Mousehole to Lamorna Cove, using the coastal path. The route can be slightly challenging in some areas but well worth it for the fabulous views of the coast. We have already booked our fourth stay for next year.
Mrs Carter Jul 2019
This is a beautiful apartment with one of the finest views in Mousehole. We never fail to enjoy it's comforts'. However this year we felt let down by the standard of cleanliness.

We are very sorry that there were some areas of cleaning that were not to the high level that you would have expected, we can only apologise if anything had been missed. Having now received this feedback, it was followed up with the housekeeper and there has since been a new housekeeper employed for this property. Thank you for letting us know and we are glad that you still had a great time and to hear how much you enjoy returning here. We look forward to seeing you back here soon. Tanya, Customer Services
A wonderful, relaxing, superb apartment with views to enjoy all day!
Mr Trezona May 2019
I almost don't want to write a review for St Clements - as telling people just how nice it is may mean that someone else books it when I want it again!
However, it's a fabulous holiday property, in the best possible location and with a view (and nice comfortable recliner) to die for!
I can't wait to book it again.

We are so sorry that there were so many problems with the boiler during your stay at St Clements. The team had tried to get this rectified as quickly as possible, but we understand how frustrating and inconvenient this would have been. I can see that Holly has been in touch with you since to apologise for this unfortunate situation, and again we would like to say how sorry we are that this was not the usual relaxing and stress free experience that you are used to at St Clements. Tanya, Customer Services
We were totally satisfied with just about everything at this property.
Mr Goddard Oct 2018
The property is excellent, really faultless and a lovely place to come back to after a big day out. By far the best place we’ve ever stayed at.
Miss Morgan Sep 2018
Fantastic apartment with stunning views of Mousehole and the coastline. Equipped to the highest standard and the wine, prosecco and cream tea were a lovely touch. The view from the front of the property is absolutely amazing and a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. We also took advantage of the parking permit offered by Aspects Holidays which allowed us to park in the Primary School yard and took all the stress of finding parking within Mousehole - well worth £30. We recommend a stay here and we hope to be back very soon. Great service from Aspects Holidays too.
Mrs Carter Aug 2018
A wonderful apartment to spend our holidays.
Mrs Thompson Jul 2018
Superb location and amazing views. Very comfortable accommodation and a great place to relax.
Mr Wimhurst Jun 2018
Probably one of the best holiday apartments available in Mousehole -and the comfort platform was excellent -no reason for stress ....and the privacy was appreciated ....
Mr Trenbath Jan 2018
An apartment with one of the best views in Cornwall in such a pretty village. Views over the harbour across Mounts Bay further to the Lizard. Never a dull moment. Boats coming and going in the harbour, seals on St.Clements island, gannets diving into the sea with the Scillonian ferry passingby. If your lucky experience the Penlee lifeboat on exercise perhaps with jointly with the coastguard helicopter.
Mr Kingshott Jan 2018
Outstanding view of harbour. Having SKY TV was also a huge bonus during our stay over Christmas. A very luxurious, well equipped apartment - it was very hard to leave !

Mr Powell Feb 2016
It's brilliant
Mrs Byrne Jan 2016
We absolutely loved our week at St Clements over Christmas. I can't praise it enough. The view from the kitchen window and main living area was magical - seeing the harbour lights come on each afternoon, watching gannets fishing off the rocks first thing, the waves crashing over the harbour wall - wonderful. The standard of kitchen equipment is extremely high and we were easily able to make cakes and cook the Christmas dinner here, as well as entertain the rest of our family who were staying at the apartment below (Harbours Reach) - because the sofa and armahciars were ample for 7 people, and there was enough kitchen crockery etc. The bed (main bedroom) was really comfortable with luxurious duvet, and the whole apartment was warm, bright and exceptionally clean. It was a very special Christmas, and a lovely place to celebrate one of our party's very special birthday on Chstrmas Eve! However - not a place to stay if you are overw eight or unfit or have any sort of disability, as it involves two flights of stairs - which we were very happy to run up and down and added to the charm!
Dr Rigby Dec 2015
We have nothing but the highest praise for the apartment. A thoughtful welcome pack. The property is warm, cosy and spacious. All the rooms have been fitted out to a very high standard. The location is marvellous with wonderful views onto the harbour and beyond. Despite the damp weather (fairly normal for November) we had a lovely, relaxing week in unspoilt Mousehole. Will definitely be looking to visit again.
Mr Mills Nov 2015
