Star Cottage

£483 - £1050 per week

From the moment you step inside the charming and spacious Star Cottage, you will instantly feel a sense of "coming home." Overflowing with charisma and furnished beautifully with sunny ochres and inky greys, sleeping five and welcoming one dog, the whole family can enjoy the treasured time a holiday creates. As your well earned rest begins, relax with the morning papers and a piping hot coffee on the patio before heading out for a fun filled day exploring. After a weary day on the golden sands of one of the local beaches, on your return, pour yourself a glass of chilled Cornish wine and retire to the "secret patio garden," a few steps away from the cottage, to catch the last few rays relaxing on the sun loungers or under the cool shade of the parasol, as the afternoon drifts into dusk.

Ideally located to explore the west of Cornwall, the village of St Erth hosts a go-karting track and play park, along with some doggy day care should you wish your furry member of the family to have their own independent adventure. Star Cottage is perfectly located for avid walkers too; lace up those trusty walking boots and meander down the footpaths which lead to the ancient market town of Marazion, to view the wonder that is St Michaels Mount. For the bird watchers and fishermen among you, head towards Carnsew Pool and Billy Knott Fisheries, only a short distance away. You may choose to leave the car at home and make the 20 minute stroll to the train station to visit St Ives, which is only a 10 minute, scenic train journey away, or take the shorter train rides into Hayle or Penzance. Skip cooking at home in the well equipped kitchen and dine in one of the several restaurants in neighbouring Hayle or visit the traditional 17th century village pub, located only a few steps away from the cottage. Priding themselves on being child, bike, dog and welly friendly, the whole family will be given a warm welcome. When you come home, snuggle up in front of one of the two electrical fires and play a board game or two, before the little ones retire to the comfortable beds, for a dream filled slumber of ship adventures and mermaids. After a holiday of lifetime memories, one thing is for sure, you won’t want your first stay at Star Cottage to be your last.
