October 2024

The location of this property is incredible, beautiful views and so close to the beach. We went down to the cove in the morning for a paddle in the sea before breakfast. The front garden is perfect for sitting outside in the morning, with a cup of tea, listening to the waves crashing when the tide is in and family dinners in the evening. The house is a great size and we comfortably fit 8 adults and 1 child. We would definitely return.

The property is in a great location, only a stones throw from the beach, and walking paths. There is easy access to surrounding areas too and the bungalow is clean and comfortable and much larger than expected from the front The property is a little dated in places so may not be to everyone’s cup of tea, also the owner(s) flat has access to and overlooks the back garden so did not use this

It's great to hear you had a lovely stay at Bayfield, and that you enjoyed that great access to the nearby beach. We try to market a range of properties suiting all different styles, budgets and preferences, so we are sorry to hear that you found the property to be a little dated, but thank you for your feedback.

Since your stay, we have now updated the property description to include note that there is flat over the garage, which occasionally is occupied.

We hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall again soon. Katy, Customer Services.

Property very disappointed. Not worth the money we paid ??

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at Bayfield - and we appreciate you getting in touch at the time of your stay to let us know your concerns. We aim to offer a wide range of properties that we hope will meet the different budgets, differing requirements and individual tastes, so we are sorry that it didn't meet your needs. Since your stay we have carried out a thorough inspection to ensure that everything is how it should be. As Bayfield is a larger property which sleeps 9 people, it may have a higher brochure rental than an apartment that sleeps 2, for example. This cost difference may be more noticeable when under occupying the property. We very much hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall again soon, at one of the many other properties we market. Katy, Customer Services.

Amazing views from the house.Great location. Perfect size house for 7 of us to spread out. It was much bigger than we thought it would be from photos. So many places to go and see within 30/40 mins for house. The train to St.Ives was fab. Very good value and not have to worry about parking. Beach was easy to get to from the house. The front garden was kept lovely to enjoy the views while sat there.sunsets were amazing over the bay. We would recommend this house

Great location. Beautuful views. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Looks like decor has recently been refreshed. 2 minutes walk to beach and coastal walks. Local shop 1 minute walk. Family pub with good food and drink. Lots of wildlife to see, birds and rabbits in the garden, very tame. Nice arrival welcoming touches flowers, local tea, coffee, milk, fudge, biscuits.

Fantastic property that catered well for 4 generations ranging from 80 years to 7 months old. Plenty of space and comfortable. Weather was fantastic so made good use of the outside space. Kitchen very well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses etc for our party of 7. Travel cot and highchair provided for our smallest traveller, cot set up ready for use. Towels and bedding very good quality. Very comfy beds.

Large, comfortable property. Easy access to Hayle beach (literally minutes away walking......but not suitable for anyone with poor mobility issues) We loved staying there, and would happily come again for the views alone. A great base to visit St Ives, Penzance, and surrounding areas. Everything you need for your holiday is easy to come by in Hayle itself.

It's great to hear you had a lovely stay at Bayfield, and that you enjoyed having Hayle's gorgeous golden sands moments away. As you have said, the walk down to the beach may not be suitable for all, but with plenty of carparks around it won't be long before you can be sitting on the sand watching the waves! We hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall for another stay soon. Katy, Customer Services.

The Bayfield we stayed in October 2023 five of us 1 dog , plenty of room , the Bayfield is needing abit modernisation now , bringing up to date , we enjoyed our stay though ,and the view from it is great looking towards the sea and Stives .. if your looking for something big and want just a holiday base for surfing and the beach it's fine ..

Lovely property. Very spacious and decor kept in line with the property. Beds extremely comfortable. Felt very welcoming, was left biscuits, crisps, tea, coffee & milk.

We've just had an amazing two weeks in the Bayfield and made some great family memories. Being such a large property it can accommodate all 9 of us without feeling cramped. It has the most spectacular views in the area and being so close to the beach is perfect. The private garden at the rear is perfect for a spot of outdoor cooking with the front garden being plenty big enough for kids to run around and play games. It's good to see the feedback being responded to as there's a new outside furniture set providing extra seating and table space at the front. We can't wait to come back next year!

What a wonderful beach house. We were a family of 9 and found the house perfect for our stay. Much bigger than we thought. A well equipped kitchen, clean comfortable beds/linen and enough seating in both the dining and living rooms. You’d never grow tired of watching the view from any of the front facing windows. Whilst the furniture may not be to everyone’s taste, we loved the quirkiness. The chaise lounge and arm chairs were all were very comfortable. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the space inside and outside the house and being so close to the beach with sea views was priceless. The owners are very friendly and attentive and so was Aspect Holidays. We will definitely return and use Aspect in the future.

Excellent location, beautiful views and gorgeous property! We had an amazing holiday and wish we could have stayed for longer.

You could not pick better location so close to the beach. Aspects properties are great value for money. Great place to make family memories.

Bayfield is in a great location and now dog friendly which is fab. The property is huge and we had a comfortable stay with glorious weather. The property itself would benefit from some TLC and more attention to detail is needed, espically to the outside rear/side of property, outside seating etc, however this didn't spoil our stay. The owner was very accommodating and lent us a vacuum due to the 1 in the property not working to well, we have a German Shepherd and believe me, you need a good vacuum !.. We have been coming to Hayle for 30yrs and would definitely stay in Bayfield again. ??

Bayfield is in a great location and is extremely light and airy. The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. The house was clean but would benefit from some updating and a little more attention to detail e.g. a welcome pack and many light bulbs in the hallway needed replacing.

Bayfield is a lovely large house ideal for families and groups of friends. The location is absolutely amazing - great views over to St Ives and of the evening sunsets. Ideally locating for travelling around southern cornwall Would definitely recommend and hope to go again. We visited in April - the weather was varied but if you visited in the summer I think you would spend all day and evening on the amazing beach which is 5 minutes walk away.

Location couldn’t have been better. We had a wonderful holiday that kept teenagers and grandparents happy.
