Cabbage Patch Bay
Carbis Bay

£520 - £1529 per week

Positioned in a peaceful part of Carbis Bay, this three bedroom bungalow invites you and your family to relax in its modern, open plan, setting, with comfortable and stylish furnishings throughout. The large driveway offers plenty of parking and the master bedroom has its own private en suite. The kitchen is well equipped for dining in together around the table in the conservatory, which leads out to the rear garden, with outdoor furniture for dining al fresco, or sharing a bottle of wine with friends as the evening draws in. The name Cabbage Patch Bay comes from the owners' children, who affectionately renamed 'Carbis Bay' to 'Cabbage Patch' when younger - decades later the name has stuck, so the owners decided to continue the name through their holiday home for nostalgia.

Carbis Bay has popular eateries nearby, including Spanish inspired La Casita or classic British dishes at award winning restaurant The Gannet. Carbis Bay beach is a short walk downhill, accessible within 10 minutes, and offers water sports equipment hire for those looking to partake in a spot of surfing or paddleboarding or treat yourself to a fine dining experience overlooking the beach at Adam Handling's 'The Ugly Butterfly', after a day sunbathing on the golden sands.

Perfection!!

Good value for money, lovely bungalow.

We had a really lovely holiday at Cabbage Patch Bay. The property is immaculate and well equipped. There is a short cut to the beach that visitors should know about. If you go down Ros Lyn, there is an alleyway that takes you straight to the main road, cross that and go down Boskerris Road, it's about 10 minutes walk. The complimentary products were such a nice touch and the welcome basket was hugely appreciated after a long journey. Thanks very much, we had a lovely time. The Arnold family.

We had a fantastic stay at Cabbage Patch Bay, it was immaculately clean, well decorated and furnished throughout. Perfectly located for Carbis Bay and St. Ives as well as further afield. On arrival we had been left some local goodies to welcome us, which was a lovely touch. We absolutely loved staying here and can’t recommend this property or Aspect Holidays enough!

Cabbage patch bay house is lovely and has everything you need. All toiletries provided was a lovely touch. Please bare in mind it’s a hilly walk to beach going down not bad but coming up is hard.

Had the best stay in ‘Cabbage Patch Bay’ very clean and fully equipped with all you need for your stay! Great arrival treats too, and small touches all around to make your stay even better! Local Tesco’s also only 2 minutes away for all your holiday needs. Carbis bay beach is amazing you would think you where abroad! Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabbage Patch Bay and would highly recommend this gem of a holiday home. Beautifully clean and everything you could wish for was provided. From The Bells and The Pawleys, London.

Cabbage Patch Bay was fantastic. So clean and all facilities were excellent. This property has gone above & beyond to welcome and make there guests welcome. There is nothing I could say needed to change. I would recommend this to anyone. Our holiday was amazing and would def go back Thank you cabbage Patch Bay.

Cabbage Patch Bay was a good property overall, that was well-equipped and very clean, with parking for 2/3 cars. However, we felt that the property description should make it clear that the main bedroom and its en-suite both have windows that face directly into the conservatory, exactly where the dining table is located and even though the en-suite had 'frosted' glass, it was sometimes awkward when at the toilet or in the shower, as outlines of people could clearly be seen by people in the conservatory and vice-versa. A simple blind in the en-suite would help Also, the garden area felt 'unfinished' I wouldn't say that I wouldn't stay here again but wouldn't rush to do so.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback, it still sounds like Cabbage Patch Bay worked quite well for you except for a couple of areas. You will be pleased to hear that as a result of your feedback, the owners have installed a blind in that ensuite. Although the website photos didn't show a blind there, we can appreciate that it is a detail that some may not notice and some may not be completely comfortable with, so the owners have taken your feedback on board. The garden is as currently pictured on the website, so we do hope that it was what you had expected, however, the owners do already have a landscape gardener planned in the future, with the aim of making the most out of that area. We hope that you can see that they really do take feedback onboard and hopefully this will now be somewhere that you may consider returning to in the future after all. Tanya, Customer Services.

Everything was lovely at the property. Such a lovely place, location and plenty to do in the area. Thank you for an amazing holiday.
