River Rock

£449 - £1095 per week

River Rock offers guests a stylish retreat with a scandi chic flavour, modern and comfortable, it is the ideal pad for a break from the old routine. The open plan sitting room, in this second floor apartment, is a fabulous space for everyone to relax, or cook together in. On warmer evenings, throw open the door and sit out on the balcony with a glass of something cold. River Rock is a great spot from which to watch the ebb and flow of the tide, enjoying a birds eye view of the Penryn River, as you sip your morning coffee. Sleeping four, in two contemporary bedrooms, one with zip and link beds, and an en suite shower room in the master bedroom, this is the perfect place for a change of scenery and a chance to explore this super part of Cornwall.

Beautifully located to explore the local area, River Rock is just a short stroll to Penryn's high street where you can collect a picnic before heading out for the day, perhaps a trip to Falmouth or an adventure on the mighty Helford River. Maybe even take the ferry over to the Roseland, or head out for a day of retail therapy in Truro? If you want to stay closer to home, perhaps you could be tempted by the yoga studio or selection of fabulous cafes just across the road? Holidays in Falmouth

Situated on the coast, Falmouth benefits from four beautiful beaches, including one Blue Flag beach, Gyllyngvase Beach. The seaside town is home to the popular National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the historic Pendennis Castle, a selection of tropical gardens and a plethora of attractions to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

Holiday in Falmouth and experience ‘car free’ days out, enjoying transport links from the town by bus, rail and boat. Visitors can take pleasure boat cruises around the Fal estuary or along the beautiful Helford River. Take the ferry to Truro or St Mawes, and you’ll be able to experience the beautiful scenery along the way.

Many people visit Falmouth for the breath-taking scenery and tropical gardens, and with four major gardens in Falmouth and a further three close by, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

From Falmouth, you can also enjoy many boating activities, including shark fishing, sailing, sea safaris and water sports; a boater’s paradise!

Did you know...

Pendennis Castle was built by Henry VIII to protect the Carrick Roads from invasion!
