Fabulous accommodation! Good location, minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Sainsburys is also only a few minutes walk away. Newquay centre also close by, but far enough to ensure no noise travels. Everything had been thought of...lovely bedding and towels, very clean. Beautiful views. Would certainly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday at this apartment. Fabulous position with uninterrupted view of Fistral Bay and easy access to many local amenities. The apartment is spacious and well presented. The kitchen is well appointed including a dishwasher and washer/dryer and an ample supply of good quality crockery and cutlery. The bedding and towels are of good quality and car parking is very nearby. Would recommend!

Regarded as the home of the UK’s surf scene, and offering consistently good surf throughout the year, Newquay is great place to surf whether you’re a first-timer or seasoned pro. When staying at a holiday cottage in Newquay, you won’t be short of beaches to choose from, with nine sandy beaches on the doorstep. All of Newquay’s beaches are lifeguarded in the summer, providing a safe place to spend the day soaking up the sun.  

Watergate Bay and Fistral beach welcome dogs all year round, making Newquay an ideal location to spend a week with your four legged friend.


With such an abundance of attractions in and around Newquay, it’s the perfect place for a family holiday at any time of year. Newquay Zoo offers a great day out at any time of year, as do the nearby Screech Owl Sanctuary, and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Holywell Bay Fun Park provides guaranteed fun for the family whatever the weather.

If you fancy something a bit different, fishing trips and sea safaris are available, from which you can take in the scenery from a different angle. You may even be lucky enough to catch a sight of seals and dolphins!

Newquay’s links golf course overlooks Fistral beach and is regarded as one of the best golf courses in the county, providing a different challenge everyday depending on the weather.

Events in Newquay

The Boardmasters surf and music festival in August sees thousands descend on Newquay's Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay to watch surf competitions and live music.

Newquay's Fish Festival which takes place each year in September, sees three days of foodie fun, from cookery demonstrations, to fly fishing tutorials and live entertainment.

Newquay Beer Festival gives you the opportunity to sample over 50 ales and enjoy live music.

Santa at Lappa Valley Steam Railway

Board the Santa Express  bound for Santa's magical grotto. On selected dates between the 8th and 24th December, children and their families can take a ride on the Santa Train to his grotto where they can receive a gift from Santa. There will also be children's entertainment, balloon making, Christmas card colouring and mince pies and mulled wine for the adults!

Gool Perran Lowen - Happy St Piran's Day in Cornish! 

St Piran's Day, celebrated on March 5th, is the national day of Cornwall, named after one of Cornwall's patron saints. According to legend, St Piran, a 5th century Irish Abbot, was thrown into the sea in Ireland tied to a mill stone; somehow he washed up on the Cornish coast still alive. He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting. 

Today, Cornwall still celebrates St Piran's Day, with various celebrations held across Cornwall.

Boscastle Walking Week

Boscastle Walking Week is an annual event which has grown in popularity over the years. Organised by local people with local knowledge, everyone is welcome to join the organised walks for a small fee of £3-£5.  You'll be guided on some of the most beautiful walks along the Cornish coastline, amid woods and streams and on rambles to secluded waterfalls. Celebrate the history of this stunning scenery as you learn about the famous author Thomas Hardy, who spent a year living in the area.

Padstow 'Obby Oss' Festival

A colourful tradition that takes place on the first day in May in the quaint harbour town of Padstow. The locals decorate the town with flags, flowers, greenery and a flagpole. The crowds are greeted by the swirling and dancing 'osses' who parade through the town, followed by the 'Teazer' who dances along behind. 

Expect lots of dancing, singing and performance.

Bredon Court is well positioned - just out of Newquay town but within easy walking distance of all amenities. Plenty of places to eat and lovely beaches. Safe complex with gated entrance & own parking space. Amazing sea views & well equipped apartment.

Absolutely stunning appartment, wish it was mine, vey comfortable huge bed & would be excellent for a family with children, if you wanted to stay with another couple there is only one king size plus bed the others were singles. Lovely & clean & fresh fluffy towels which is always a bonus, great location for getting out & about in Cornwall, would highly recommend.

Fabulous property which is really well located for both the town and the beach. Beds really comfortable in all rooms and the view of Fistral beach from the lounge and master suite was just amazing. Kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped with plenty of storage. Loved every minute and would definitely book again.

Newquay Beach Penthouse is a great property with good views. It is situated only 5 minutes walk from the beach and a less than 10 minutes walk from Sainsbury's. Great local restaurants are very close too. The parking is good and secure. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable. This makes a great base for any family holiday in Cornwall. Aspect holidays made booking easy and provided clear instructions for arrival.
