Blue Elvin is a great place to stay. Traditionally stone built, it sits quietly at the end of one of the splendid St Ives terraces. The house has been comfortably modernised, with a well equipped kitchen diner and two good bathrooms, but retains its traditional character. It is warm and welcoming on chilly days and has a terrace to enjoy the sun when the weather is good. We never tire of the view towards the town and sea from the large main bedroom. The town is a few minutes walk away, and what we particularly enjoy is that we can spend days happily exploring St Ives and its immediate surroundings without moving the car - there is so much to see and do locally. Our stays in Blue Elvin have been really enjoyable, and return visits are eagerly awaited.

We had a wonderful week at Blue Elvin. The house is very spacious and in a great location with stunning sea views. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking up some of Cornwall delicious local seafood. Looking forward to returning in the future.

St Ives Town

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.

So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.
