Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.
So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.

We have just come back from a stay at The Blue Elvin .
Absolutely fabulous house and location .
Really appreciated the bottle of fizz and flowers on arrival what a lovely touch .
It was spotless when we arrived and we would defo come again
Thankyou
Mrs Atkinson Aug 2021
First time we’ve booked with Aspect and was surprised abs very happy how easy to book it was and how great the house was. The extra little touches on arrival (local tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and fresh flowers) and a £5 voucher to spend in a local shop were unexpected but a very nice touch.
Would highly recommend.
Mr Derry Nov 2020
a lovely well equipped cottage, fabulous location and secure parking.
Mrs Brough Oct 2020
Had a great holiday in Blue Elvin. The house has wonderful views and is very well situated for access to the beaches, shops and restaurants of lovely St Ives It is comfortable and well equipped, and feels like a ‘home from home’. Would definitely return.
Mrs Baldwin Sep 2020
Very tired furniture in lounge area. Bathrooms. If it's a family I would stay clear. If it is young people just for the surf ect it's okay. I felt I'd got back visiting my daughter at university digs. There is a lot bwtere for the money in that area.

Thank you for your comments. We are very sorry to read that the property had not met your expectations on this occasion; the last thing we ever want is for guests to be left feeling disappointed. All of the properties that we market are priced accordingly, taking into account many factors, including size of property, availability of parking, outdoor area, sea views and so on, but a lot can happen in properties in a short space of time, especially after such a busy season, so we will take the time to look into your concerns with the owners of Blue Elvin. We appreciate your comments and we hope that you still enjoyed your time in St Ives and that we will welcome you back again soon. Lucy, Customer Services
A lovely holiday home in a fabulous location.
Mrs Lumb Sep 2019
Good location and view. Well appointed house with comfortable bed in the main bedroom. Parking was good and fairly easy to use despite the warnings re big vehicles in the welcome pack. You'd need a really big vehicle for this to be a real problem. However the steep steps and stairs might be tricky for anyone with limited mobility. Handy supermarkets nearby. Was disappointed when the washing machine covered our clothes in red fluff - an unwelcome legacy from a previous user which was difficult to remove. Aspects arranged for our clothes to be washed and for an engineer to clear the totally blocked machine. Nevertheless, we had a great holiday in beautiful St Ives in a really nice house and as the only real negative was fixed while we were there we'd book this house again if we return to St Ives.

We were so sorry to hear of this incident, and whilst it was all rectified, with all clothes back to new after the laundrette had finished with them, we completely appreciate that it was not something that you would have expected to happen and have to deal with on holiday, as it certainly left everything completely covered. We were glad that we were able to help resolve everything at the time, and glad that you still had a fantastic holiday. We hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you back here again. Great stay! Spacious, centrally located and parking in front on a quiet road. Thanks for the cot/high chair - allowed us to travel down and pack everything else we needed.
Dr Butcher May 2019
Fair price for a large house with the added bonus of parking. Location off a steep hill not ideal but does mean it is nice and quiet and has lovely sea views. Front patio is a suntrap in the morning, ideal for breakfast. Lovely big kitchen and well equipped. Needs a blind at bathroom window.
Mr Guy Apr 2019
We stay in this property every year and overall it’s a lovely house and in a great location. The staff at Aspects are friendly and go above and beyond to make our stay lovely.
Mrs Cutler Mar 2019
Fantastic house that really is a 'home' and not a standard holiday let. The house is kitted out really well and makes it so easy to relax as if it is your own. The kitchen equipment was a dream for a holiday let and made it so easy to cook our own food without that much effort. Lovely a comfortable living spaces and quality beds, which makes a real different. Easily can cater for a large group, or a few of you. Small secluded rear area is ideal for storing surfboards and hang up wetsuits if you have them. Fantastic for our last minute, short break and will definitely go back here!!
Mr Buckland Dec 2018

Good shower. Easy to operate oven. Great view from bedroom. Well located. Parking slightly awkward. Had a lovely holiday. Great to be able to access the beach with the dogs, especially in the morning. Pity they are now denied any access until the autumn.

Thank you for your review, we aim to be completely honest and transparent with our property descriptions and the reviews that we publish, so all reviews received, are shown on our site, with very few exceptions. We were so sorry that you experienced a leak while you were here, which although resolved with you at the time, left a damp area of ceiling and wall. This has since been rectified and decorated, but we completely understand that whilst what happened could not have been foreseen, would have been a dissapointment at the time. We were glad to hear that you felt that we dealt with everything well while you were here, and thank you for your patience and undertsanding at the time. Tanya, Customer services
Great location and the hill walk back to the house certainly get you fit!
Ms Boldy Sep 2015
Blue Elvin was a real home from home, but with a better view. Lovely quiet location, minutes from the centre of town and also the beaches. The kitchen was very well equipped - we took our own cafetiere and found they had four. Parking is a real bonus as well as the south facing terrace.
