We really enjoyed our stay at Duck Down, it is in an excellent location and easy to get around the town. It felt more like a home than a holiday home and had lovely accessories, we would go back to stay again.

We loved our stay at Duck Down. Although very compact, the accomodation has everything you need. Our only complaint was that the lighting was not very good in the kitchen area. Perfectly located within easy walking distance of all beaches. We would definitely recommend.

It sounds like Duck Down was just about perfect for you! Thank you for your feedback on the lighting; something like this can be quite subjective and as we haven't had this mentioned before, we will monitor feedback for now, but will check it on our next inspection and make the owner aware of your feedback. When you stay in a property for a few days or more, you get to experience things in a different way than we do, so we really do appreciate the feedback; it is very helpful. Thank you again and we hope to see you back soon. Lucy, Customer Services

A beautiful, comfortable cottage in a perfect location.
As described the bed has one side to the wall so not suitable for those who may struggle to get out of bed.
Would certainly recommend and did not find people staying above us a problem at all.
Mrs Keily Aug 2020
Really lovely cute cottage, high quality decor and an excellent location. Note that there is a cottage above and depending on who rents it means you have the possibility of a lot of noise above you which could impact on your holiday.
Mrs Fox Jul 2020
What a charming cottage, in a brilliant location, just minutes from the town. Really felt like a home from home, with all the facilities you need for a holiday, plus the addition of a welcome washing machine!!! All furniture very comfortable and of good quality. Be prepared for restricted height through the doorways, and shower -it's called Duckdown for a reason!! We loved our week there and would definitely return, plus Aspects are a pleasure to deal with

Thank you for your lovely review. When on holiday you want to feel like you are at home and reading that Duck Down felt like that, is exactly what we love to read. With many properties in St Ives being traditional fisherman cottages, they tend to be quite quirky in their layouts, but it all adds to the charm and is something that many people love about this type of property and town. It is great to hear you would return despite the need to 'duck down' and we very much look forward to seeing you again. Lucy, Customer Services

Really enjoyed our stay in Duck Down the welcome pack was fantastic a lovely start to our holiday thank you. The cottage is a perfect bolt hole for two in a great location, lovely and clean with a really comfy bed.
Mr Thorpe Sep 2019
Duck Down is a very nice little place to stay for a couples retreat. It acts as a very good base to come back too, after a long day of exploring. If you plan to stay in your accommodation for long periods, it maybe a bit small for that. Also if you are a person who is very tall, you might find yourself bending through doorways and the shower might be a bit small in height (I'm 5ft 7inch and my head almost touched the ceiling in the shower.) Otherwise these are small little things and overall we were completly satisfied with our stay in the Duck Down. The warming gift was a pleasant surprise after a long day of traveling.
Mr Ashforth Jul 2019

Duck Down is a wonderful and beautiful accommodation. The aspect Hoildays made my stay wonderful and welcoming. It’s in a great location in St Ives and good short walking distances around the area. I would highly recommend aspects Hoildays and the accommodation and I would love to come back again.
Miss Lowe Mar 2019
Myself and my partner had a long weekend away for my 30th. I’ve been coming to St Ives since I was a child but this is the first time I have stayed in Duck Down and has to be one of the nicest places Ive stayed whilst on holiday here. It was a lovely clean cottage decorated to a high standard with all the appliances you could need. The cottage was in a brilliant location, very close to shops, restaurants and beaches. It was the little touches that made it better. We had a welcome food package that included bread, milk, tea, biscuits and wine to name just a few things. I would highly recommend this property.
Miss Holt Sep 2018
