Bunkers Cott is situated in one of St Ives' most picturesque streets and is just seconds from the Harbour beach. It offers comfortable accommodation, ideal for couples or small families looking for a true St Ives experience. With cobbled streets lined with boutique style shops, galleries and eateries all within walking distance, Bunkers Cott is ideally placed.
via several stone steps from Bunkers Hill to the cottage door, leads into a small vestibule with door into:
sofa, table and two chairs positioned next to window seat (overlooking Bunkers Hill) providing additional dining capacity, fireplace, TV/DVD. Stairs to first floor bedrooms.
electric oven and hob, washing machine/dryer, ceramic sink, fridge/freezer.
WC.
double bed, window seat overlooking Bunkers Hill, en suite shower room with WC and basin, harbour glimpses.
Please note that the stairs to the first floor are steep and therefore are not suitable for those with limited mobility. The Internet connection is via a MiFi device which is not suitable for streaming or downloading, WiFi, short breaks available.
Lovely accommodation. Clean, well stocked kitchen facilities and close to bars, restaurants and beaches so ideal location. However best suited to a couple as back bedroom small and access to lavatory is either through front bedroom or down very steep stairs to downstairs facilities which could be a bit precarious. We would definitely use Bunkers Cottage again.

Location was perfect, house was lovely and fine for a small family of 4 or a couple, the bathroom is very small though so wouldn’t be ideal for very tall people, the stairs may be an issue for some people as they are very steep. I would stay definitely stay here again

Thanks for your helpful comments. Many of the traditional fisherman's Cottages have more quirky layouts with stairs narrower and steeper and lower ceiling heights than what we are used to in more modern properties today. The quirkiness and character are one of the things that attract so many people to stay here but it is certainly something to be aware of and check before booking if you are interested in staying in such a property. We are glad to hear that it worked well for you and your family and we hope to see you back here again. Tanya, Customer Services

Bunkers Cott is in a good location, although stairs are not for everybody, young children and the eldery need to take care. The cottage is very well equipped, but take aways and restaurants are right on your door step.
