We had the best time staying in Skippers Den. The location was perfect - quiet and tucked away but also central to St.Ives and great for exploring other amazing places. The house was extremely well equipped, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. If we’re ever in St.Ives again, we will definitely be staying here!

Steeped in history, Downalong is a timeless haven that captures the fishing heritage and thriving art community of this enchanting area of St Ives. With all that St Ives has to offer on your doorstep, spend endless days exploring the sandy shores, stunning coastal paths and bustling harbourside.
Downalong is a historic Cornish term for an area of harbourside fisherman's cottages 'down along the harbour'?

We have stayed in Aspects properties in St. Ives over a dozen times and Skipper's Den rates as one of the top ones for us. It's in a fantastic location with an easy drop off of bags in either Porthmeor Square or the Sloop car park. It's situated within a secure courtyard off the small lanes of Downalong. The property is really comfortable and very well appointed. We felt that it was bigger than it appeared in the photos. The beds are really comfortable and the shower is perfect. We'll be staying here again!
