Radiating a polished-yet-homely vibe, the open-plan living area is perfect for drawn-out meals and relaxation throughout the day. Light-filled interiors chime to contemporary design, with personal touches nodding to the owners' professions. From the open-plan living space, a wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where two bedrooms offer serene mornings and early nights that can be enjoyed by up to four guests. After a day exploring the Cornish landscape, the sitting room's stylish seating and woodburner await to welcome and warm. An effortlessly stylish and utterly inviting base for discovering all that West Cornwall has on offer, and with the golden sandy beach of PorthKidney as your playground, seaside family holidays and romantic coastal escapes have never been so much fun.

Lazy days will drift by as you enjoy relaxed outings to the coast or country rambles, while your four-legged friend bounds alongside with happy abandon. Hop on the bus to St Ives, a favourite with artists for generations, where you can relax on one of the ever-popular beaches and enjoy lunch and dinner in a different cafe or restaurant every day. A trip to Tate Gallery St Ives is a must taking in the stunning views across Porthmeor beach. To the west lies Land's End, beautiful beaches surrounding Sennen Cove and the delightful fishing village of Mousehole. Discover the coastal area on foot, and when you've exhausted your energies, retreat back to the cottage garden, an ideal spot to plan your next adventure over an al fresco dinner in the afternoon sun. Surf and Turf is perfect any time of year, spend summer days exploring the nearby dunes, and in winter, gather around the cosy woodburner for board games and homemade hot chocolate.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surf & Turf. Had such a homely, cosy feeling. Location was great for exploring, we even ventured down to the local Badger Inn for their quiz and bingo nights! Honestly couldn't fault it, was immaculately clean, well equipped and super comfy beds to fall into after a long day exploring Cornwall. We will be back again. Thank you for a beautiful week

April 2024

A lovely Cottage and was well positioned for our stay and needs. It was really cosy and snug, and was a welcome return every day after our days out. We stayed at the end of January 2024 and we were fortunate to have great weather. I would well recommend this cottage.

A lovely Cottage and was well positioned for our stay and needs. It was really cosy and snug, and was a welcome return every day after our days out. We stayed at the end of January 2024 and we were fortunate to have great weather. I would well recommend this cottage.

For what we knew was a small cottage we found it nicely decorated and equipped. No dishwasher but otherwise everything you could expect. Good outdoor space for the warmer months. Nice log stove in front room for colder months.

It is right on the main Road which only has a narrow pavement immediately outside that is a consideration for dogs and small children but other than that we like the location with the Badger very close and the Watermill, The Forge and Birdies at the other side of the village for food and drinks. Bus stop nearby for trips to St Ives.

We enjoyed our stay.

A really enjoyable holiday, the cottage was lovely and cosy and well kept. Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Close enough to walk to lots of places such as St Ives, Carbis Bay and Hayle. We really loved our stay here.

Would definitely stay again at Surf & Turf for just the 2 of us and a dog, very cosy. it is close to the main road but this did not cause too much of a problem as we fully understood this when we booked. Ideal place for leaving the car behind and setting off on some gorgeous costal walks within minutes of the property. Easy to get to St Ives on the train to save any hassle parking with amazing views on route or a lovely walk from Lelant - St Ives on the coastal path.

We had a wonderful week staying at Surf & Turf cottage in Lelant. The cottage exceeded our expectations, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location. Customer care team beforehand were also extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning to this little cottage again.

Great little property. Clean and comfortable and well equipped for your stay. Good location for public transport and only a 10 minute walk to a fabulous beach.

Cottage was excellent with added parking bay a plus…description was as stated in Aspects description…we took our small dachshund who loved the garden. Cottage was tastefully decorated. The road is busy..which we knew and is stated by Aspects..and wasn’t a problem. We ate a couple of times at the Badger Inn which again we’ve visited many times over the years, is dog friendly and serves excellent pub food. Only negative was the lack of storage in the bedroom for your clothes if staying longer than a short break, we had to use the suitcase and the window ledge, we wouldn’t let it stop us booking the cottage again but only for a 3-4 night break (I’m sure it’s not just me but because of the reliability of the English weather I do tend to pack for all seasons ??) Thank you Aspects for another wonderful St Ives fix

It is lovely to hear that Surf and Turf was enjoyed by both you and your four-legged friend! We are also pleased to hear you found the property to be reflective of the online description, as we pride ourselves on open and honest marketing. Thanks for your thoughts on the storage; the owners have tried to make the most of the available space, and provide as much storage as they can, while ensuring that you have adequate space to move around the rooms, but we appreciate that this may not work for everyone so apologies if it did not suit. Thanks for your comments, and we hope to see you back here soon. Lucy, Customer Services

Very good location for having a quiet beach then the ease of jumping on the bus for a lively st Ives

Nice cottage in good location ,But had broken garden furniture so could not sit outside. .

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback following your stay at Surf and Turf. We are so sorry that the outside furniture was broken at the time of your visit, we worked alongside the owner to try and get this sorted for you during your stay, but due to the delivery time scale this was unfortunately not possible. We can confirm these chairs have now been replaced. We hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall again soon. Katy, Customer Services.

Lovely little cottage near lovely beaches. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, well presented property in our favourite location. Cottage was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Great location. Parking may be an issue if you are less mobile but it is made clear on the description.

Lovely little cottage well located for access to the beach and the train into St.Ives. Very dog friendly with enclosed rear garden, and slate floors downstairs, and overall well equipped. Although it is on a busy main road the cottage is well sound proofed, but just be aware it is difficult to drop off stuff as the road is very busy and it's a fair walk from the car parking space as there is no rear access to the property.

Thank you for your helpful comments and we are glad that you enjoyed this property. The walk from the parking and how that will work on arrival and departure days, is certainly something worth thinking about before arrival. It may not work for everyone, but we hope that you agreed, is a fantastic facility to have with the property, with most of the cottages along that road not having any allocated parking at all, often resulting in a much longer walk to the property, after much driving around. Thanks again and we hope to see you back soon. Tanya, Customer Services
