Venton Meadow is a beautiful, family home, where quality time takes centre stage. A quiet, modern, retreat close to the golden dunes of Gwithian Beach, this property will certainly enchant guests who are looking for the ultimate, family-holiday escape. Venton Meadow sleeps up to ten guests and is designed with togetherness in mind, the modern light-filled kitchen calls for conversation over family meals and evenings of board games. The sunny ochres and inky greys of the sitting room combine to reflect the coast's ever-changing palette, with large doors that open onto the patio, welcoming seamless inside-outside living. For nights of pure relaxation, there are five beautifully appointed bedrooms, and the luxurious bath in the master bedroom lets you soak tired muscles and feel your mind and body relax under a mountain of bubbles, before slipping into the super-king size bed. Tucked away on the outskirts of Hayle, enjoying both rural rambles and seaside strolls; once you've explored the footpaths, paddled on the soft shores and experienced the exhilarating surf, you simply won't want to leave.

Venton Meadow sits in an enviable position at the end of a driveway on the edge of Hayle and offers a peaceful sense of seclusion, with little to disturb you. However tempting it is to stay put, you must explore the nearby towns of St Ives, Marazion and Mousehole, to name but a few, this fabulous property offers a perfect base from which to enjoy this wonderful part of Cornwall. On a dry, blustery, day, walk along the coast path to Godrevy Lighthouse to see the seals playing in the surf, followed by a welcome drink in the characterful Red River Inn, serving excellent food and Cornish ales. Or after a days adventures, head back to light a barbecue for a fresh mackerel supper under expanding skies. With a neat, well-tended garden, designed over several levels, it provides you with a choice of spots to sit and soak up the sunshine, from breakfast until bedtime. Venton Meadow is both relaxing and rejuvenating; leaving you ready to fall in with the tempo of the day's agenda, whatever that may be. This coastal escape will see you returning year on year.

Size of property is perfect for a big family - we were 7 Adults/3 Kids Amenities are great, there is plenty of cooking utensils etc including a toastie maker, juicer, proper coffee machine all there and easy to use.Loads of cleaning bits and everything you need to get you through the week. Bring records as there is a record player in the lounge and it's hooked up to the surround sound. Nice touch! Loads of games and DVD's, plus access to Netflix, IPlayer and so on for a rainy evening at home. The kitchen table is the table of dreams for a large family. Plenty of space for everyone The location of the house is okay, it's a bit of a walk into Hayle to get to the pub, shop etc but its a nice walk. Its perhaps not as close to the beach as we would have liked, we didn't really fancy that walk with the kids, but its doable. Some roads don't have footpaths so bear in mind if you have a pram. It's a good base for day trips out in the car, easy access to A30. Parking is tight if you have a number of cars arriving! Delegate the parking to someone who is a professional 3 point turner! We had a fabulous time, and made lots of happy memories which is what it's all about - Enjoy :)

Lovely house in a convenient locatio for Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy. Plenty of room for 10 people and beautiful outdoor space with bbq area and large garden. Beds were comfy and house is well equipped. Just needs a bit of tlc on the cleaning front but easy to see why the owners love their house and have lived there so long.

We had a wonderful family holiday at venton meadows. A great location to access a lot of Cornwall coast. Well equipped house with luxury touches.

A lovely, spacious, family property, presented in a very clean condition, well equiped overall, with modern styling. All of the bedrooms are large, and most come with en-suites. It was ideal for our family which includes a number of young children. The garden is also spacious, and well equiped with garden furniture. There is on site parking for a number of cars, and public transport is available nearby to access other parts of Cornwall, including St. Ives, avoiding the need to find parking there! We had a fabulous family holiday, and will definitely look to return in the future.

Lovely family home, plenty on space and very well equipped. Weather made the lovely outside space very usable . We took our own BBQ as used it most nights. Great holiday .
