June 2023

This apartment was really nice, it had everything in it you needed and more and had a great welcome pack we weren't expecting including Rose prosecco which was brilliant. The views were fantastic of Carbis Bay, just a shame you dont get the sun on the Balcony long, but if you're always out it doesn't matter too much and in the summer when it's hot the shade will probably be welcome. It was a bit funny having people walking past the patio doors, as we hadn't realised beforehand it is communal. It's only a few mins to the beach but we couldn't walk it as my partner wouldn't have been able to walk back up the steep hill. We managed to get in the small car park one day instead just to go on the beach. There is only very expensive restaurants there, no cheaper cafes or ice cream stalls. We ventured out and about by car each day and found cheaper places to eat. The train is good to take if you want to go to St Ives. All in all a great holiday.

Absolutely Stunning from the moment we walked through the door. We come Cornwall every year and Ocean's Edge is the best by far. Will definitely return x Maybe just need to sort parking out, as a few times we couldn't park because of beach goers parking for free.

We are so glad to hear that you liked this lovely property, though us and the property owner were very sorry to hear of the issues that you experienced with the parking there. We just wanted to reassure you that parking has not usually been an issue here; indeed, this is the first report that we have had of this, and the owner has got straight on to the management company there, asking them to improve the signs regarding private parking. This will be closely monitored going forward, so thank you for bringing this to our attention. Hopefully we will see you back here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Good but expensive.

Absolutely fabulous apartment with fantastic views across the bay. Everything you need on arrival tea bags, coffee, fresh milk in fridge. Great walk in shower and comfortable bed. Very close to train station ( no train noise ) which you can travel 3 mins to St Ives for a £1! Or travel to St Erth and connect to train or bus to travel further.
Definitely go back love it !

Ocean's Edge is in an excellent spot, just above the beach, less than a 5 minute walk down, and just beside Carbis Bay railway station which gives you easy access to St Ives. We hardly used the car at all while we were there.

The appartment itself was extremely well equipped and very comfortable, a real home from home.

Location of this property is amazing. It is well presented and welcoming. A greast base for exploring. Mr and Mrs Clarke.
