Step inside to discover a seamless blend of modern comfort and traditional character, with exposed beams and modern, luxurious, décor throughout. With three double bedrooms and a large sitting/dining room, complete with a snug, this gorgeous cottage is ideal for larger groups or families looking to holiday together. The stunning surrounding garden is a wonderful place to sit back and relax whilst you soak up the glorious Cornish sunshine, and you may even hear the occasional lowing from the local neighbours at Treleague Dairy - a great place to get a delicious homemade ice cream!

Rose Cottage is beautiful. It has everything you need. Very beautiful decoration through out. A spacious property and a lovely enclosed garden. We would definitely come back again. Lots of beautiful places and Coves to visit in the area. Restaurants to visit are Jumanjii, Thai food, which is excellent, with very attentive staff. The decor is very quirky and well thought out! Chimichangas restaurant and takeaway is great too. The food is beautiful and fresh.

The five of us went down in Feb. House was everything made out to be and more. All facilities were fab and the all round feel of the place was lovely. Would 100% recommend to anyone who was a modern cottage stay. Will definately be returning to Rose Cottage

Holidays on The Lizard

The Lizard peninsula is the most southerly point in UK and home to several villages, including Lizard village - the gateway to Lizard Point. This stunning peninsula, bordered on three sides by the Atlantic Ocean, has so much to explore, including its many beaches, fishing villages, traditional pubs, hidden cafes and miles of country and coastal walks. 

The Lizard is a wonderful destination for holidays. Families can enjoy spending days rock pooling on the beaches, splashing in the sea, eating ice creams  and visiting attractions such as the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek. Meanwhile, couples can enjoy a relaxing retreat, spending their days meandering through the countryside, exploring the South West Coast Path, dining in popular pubs and discovering quaint villages.

Church Cove, Gunwalloe

At the end of a long winding road, you’ll discover Church Cove, a National Trust owned sandy cove with its own church. National Trust parking is available, along with toilets and a café. Lifeguards man the beach during the summer months.

Poldhu Cove 

Popular with the locals for its café with famous hot chocolates, Poldhu Cove is a wonderful beach for families, also owned by the National Trust. Children can enjoy safely playing in the stream that leads to the sea at this sheltered beach. Visitors can make the most of the facilities available, including a café, surf school and toilets. Lifeguards are present during the summer months. 

Kynance Cove 

Famous for its crystal clear waters and almost exotic scenery, Kynance Cove is a little bit of paradise on the peninsula. Owned by the National Trust, this well-maintained beach is incredibly popular and can get busy in the summer months. Visitors will have to descend an uneven path to reach the cove from the car park. The beach has a café and toilets, but is not lifeguarded.

Kennack Sands 

Split into two sections, Kennack Sands West and Kennack Sands East are divided by a rocky outcrop known as the Caeverracks. This large sandy beach is incredibly popular with families as there is ample sand (especially at low tide), rockpools aplenty and a stream that runs down the beach. The beach has parking, is lifeguarded during the summer months, and Kennack Sands East is dog friendly year-round.

There are plenty of places to walk on the Lizard Peninsula, offering the chance to explore this National Landscape (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Most notably is the South West Coast Path, which weaves itself around the edge of the Peninsula. Ramble along the coast path and you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views and unforgettable scenery. 

Likewise, there are miles of footpaths to discover throughout the countryside on the Lizard, many which lead to quaint pubs and cafes. Pop your boots on and head off for an afternoon exploring the local fields, villages and woodlands.

We really loved this cottage. It was well equipped, warm and spacious. Like home from home. Parking is right outside the door. We weren't able to use the garden, as it was winter. It's a lovely space for summertime though. The cottage is extremely close for visiting all of the Lizard area. Can't wait to return again one day. Thank you Aspects for yet another lovely holiday at one of your properties!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rose Cottage. It was a home from home, with everything we needed and more. It was so cosy yet spacious; we felt instantly relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. The location for exploring the Lizard was perfect, and just a short walk to Cadgwith Cove.

We spent a week in November at this lovely cottage which was a last minute booking due to a cancellation of the one we had previously booked, however we were not disappointed. The cottage is beautifully furnished with lots of attention to detail. The kitchen has everything you need, the lounge is warm and cosy and if staying in the summer there is a lovely large enclosed garden, great for the dog! All in all would recommend
