Aspects Holidays helps maintain the South West Coast Path

We are Mile Makers!

Aspects Holidays has recently donated £1400 to the South West Coast Path’s scheme to become a business ‘Mile Maker’. The donation will cover the average cost of maintaining one mile of coast path for a year, helping to offset the impact of the tourism industry on this hugely important link to the coastal landscape.

The South West Coast Path is an iconic part of Cornwall, and plays an important role in the lives of both locals and holiday makers, as well as hosting a wildlife habitat. The coast path is a crucial resource to people up and down the county; whether it’s a trail for running, a landscape to paint, or somewhere to simply clear the mind and gain a sense of peace and tranquillity, the coast path supports both physical and mental wellbeing.

From Bude to Land’s End to Looe, the coast path is synonymous with Cornwall. Rugged coasts, crashing waves and the fresh sea air provide the perfect walking environment for dog-walkers, families, couples, groups and individuals.

Aspects Holidays were thrilled to receive their locally handmade engraved decorative National Trail oak sign, which will be proudly displayed in their Hayle office.

Commercial Director, Mandy Spencer comments:

"Our Coast paths form such an integral part of locals’ lives and our visitors’ holiday experience, whether it’s just a short walk to a beach, or a much longer hike, for the more avid walker. Having holidays properties around the whole of Cornwall’s Coastline, it’s important for us to do what we can to give something back, so we are delighted to be able to support The South West Coast Path Scheme to help maintain these vital pathways."
