Aspects Holidays helps give cancer patients ‘Something To Look Forward To’

We are proud to be supporting ‘Something To Look Forward To’, a registered charity providing gifts and experiences to people affected by cancer, and their families across the UK. The aim of the charity is to promote well-being, relieve stress, aid recuperation, build memories and give those affected by cancer something to look forward to.

With holidays at the heart of what we do, they understand the importance of making memories together while away from the stresses and strains of daily life. With this in mind, we have donated £1000 to ‘Something To Look Forward To’ to help provide gifts for people affected by cancer. For every £10 donated to the charity, they give out over £30 worth of gifts!

As well as gifting a monetary donation, we will be working with the charity on a long-term basis, connecting their wonderful holiday cottage owners with the team at ‘Something To Look Forward To’. Any holidays kindly donated will be coordinated by the charity, giving people affected by cancer something to look forward to during such difficult times. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our wonderful owners.

Managing Director for ‘Something To Look Forward To’, Francesca Abery, expressed her gratitude: “We have been overwhelmed with the support offered by both Aspects Holidays and their accommodation owners. We have already received donations from over 10 owners who are all donating time in their stunning properties in Cornwall to people affected by cancer poverty, giving our beneficiaries the opportunity to break from the world of cancer so they can create lasting positive memories with the ones they love. The donation from Aspects is helping us coordinate these incredible breaks and is enabling us to give more people affected by cancer ‘Something To Look Forward To’.”

Here’s what Commercial Director for Aspects Holidays, Mandy Spencer, had to say: “Holidays are always important but for those families with a very poorly family member, making these memories are even more vital. Having had a relative in exactly this position, I know how much being offered these breaks means to everyone in the family, so I am so delighted that we have been able to make more precious memories possible for families that are going through the most difficult times you can imagine. The generosity of our owners that have offered their properties, has been truly amazing and we are all so pleased to be able to help ‘Something to look forward to’ provide such an amazing service.”
