We really enjoyed staying at this very central apartment. Stunning views from the double doors. It’s well furnished with a very comfortable kingsize bed and has a separate shower room and bathroom.

Had a wonderful week at Starfish Dreams in February. Excellent location. Travelled by train which worked very well - station, the Tate, Leach pottery, shops, choice of beaches and huge variety of eateries all walkable - and no hassle trying to find parking! Flat itself was as clean and well equipped as one would hope … but the big plus was the view from the huge window. Spent a lot of time just sitting on the swivel chairs looking out at the comings and going in the harbour and on the beach … and being inspired by beautiful February sunrises.

A super place to stay, a central location with wonderful views across the bay, bring your binoculars!

The best compliment I can give Starfish Dreams is that it felt like home throughout our stay.

We loved coming back to the apartment after a day of exploring or relaxing at the beach, and we’ll definitely consider staying here again if we come back to St. Ives and it’s available.

Bit more detail: we stayed as a couple (30s) - no kids, no pets - and it was perfect for us. Good size, nicely decorated, all major appliances, two bathrooms, comfy bed, good water pressure in the showers, etc.

The location is incredible - right on Fore St. which seems to be the main road in town with lots of bakeries, restaurants, and independent shops, and a couple of minutes walk from the Harbour, beaches, etc.

The views over the Harbour from the balcony are superb, especially in the morning. Lots of sun, too!

We found the apartment to be very quiet and peaceful, although we did stay mid-end September so not peak season. The town was still busy, but nowhere near what I’d imagine height of summer to be like.

A couple of nights there was a busker outside on Fore St. that we could hear faintly from the bedroom, but that ended by around 11pm so not really a disturbance for us at all.

There are a couple of flights of stairs up from street level to the apartment on the 2nd floor, and so something to bear in mind if you’re considering this apartment and you have mobility issues. There is a stairlift from ground to first but not sure if that’s only for private residents.

Delightful and charming apartment, with stunning panoramic view of the harbour and the sea beyond. Very comfortable, lovely furniture, well appointed and kitted out. Entrance in the heart of the town, up into a lovely apartment two floors up. Very happy and memorable week.

This is a superb accomodation and it's location is fantastic. On entering the apartment you are greeted with the most amazing harbour view and the bonus of stepping out the front door into the main street for shopping / refreshments.

This is a beautiful apartment, it has everything a couple could possibly need for a stay , The view is fabulous well worth the stair climb . In the reviews people say they found it noisy, we did not have any noise that bothered us .The property is located on Fore Street so very convenient for anywhere in St Ives. We parked at the Rugby Club & got the bus down .We would not hesitate to book this apartment in the future.

We've booked with Aspects before, so had high expectations of Starfish Dreams, which didn't disappoint. The flat, though bijou, was well proportioned for two people using it as a base. There was adequate cutlery, crockery glasses etc for the two of us and the cooking facilities were again suitable for our needs. The two leather swivel chairs by the twin opening doors were ideal to look out over the harbour. The settee wasn't the most comfortable in the world, but was adequate for our needs, as we didn't spend a great deal of time sat on it - there's far too much to see and do! We stayed in June, and the street noise mentioned in the information really wasn't an issue at all. Sure, bins get emptied early, but then the streets are clean when you go outside! The fan in the bedroom is a godsend in the hot weather. All in all very happy with our experience. It's expensive, but we wanted nice views so we expected to pay for it. Would we stay there again? Yes.

A perfect bolt hole with incredible views of the harbour. A little gem in the middle of town with great amenities and fantastic location. We loved our glass of wine at sunset at-the window seats! Perfect for couples

Fabulous location, it’s lovely to open the windows and hear St Ives and the seagulls (at all times being watched by the beady eyes of the resident seagulls on the roof outside the window). Apartment is quite comfortable although the bed and sofa ready for an upgrade. Being in the middle if St Ives is brilliant, can pop in and out if the weather is not agreeable. Watching the tide coming in and out is a bonus. The stair lift up to the first floor on the steep and narrow stairs certainly is not, very restricted access getting past it.

Great location, views and apartment.

Wow what a truly wonderful place! We found the apartment very comfortable and the views were amazing, from the hustle and bustle of the harbour, over to Porthminster and out to Godrevy. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer, dishwasher & oven were easy to use. It was great to meet the owners and the welcome cream tea was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly look at booking this accommodation again.

A great flat with easy access to pubs, restaurants and the beaches, it should be noted that Starfish Dreams is on the second floor the first stair case has a stair lift which of course is great for access but can be a challenge for getting your suitcase up. I shall definitely be booking this flat again.

Lovely apartment in the heart of St Ives

Starfish dreams is a lovely clean and bright apartment, with amazing sea views. Well situated in a central location with bars and shops on your doorstep. Expect noise as you're on the main thoroughfare, which might impact on sleeping. Need to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to the room, but that's how you get the amazing views. Very relaxing apartment, all facilities provided.

We had an amazing time at the apartment. The facilities were excellent and is located close to all amenities with a spectacular view from the living room. We were thoroughly able to unwind from a busy stressful 2020 during our time in St Ives. We have already recommended the apartment to both friends and family.

Had the most amazing stay here. Location was perfect and very close to the harbour- short walk to everything we needed during. Very clean and well presented. Fabulous view of the harbour was delightful to watch the tide come in and out. Thankyou!!

Wonderful stay for our 1st holiday with our little boy. With him going to bed early we were still able to sit with a glass of wine looking out over the harbour for a lovely romantic evening. Perfect location.

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, but there are usually 5 of us and Starfish only sleeps 4.

A wonderful property giving us a great experience in the most beautiful of settings in St Ives. Giving us the most stunning views from morning until evening and conveniently situated close to everywhere. Would definitely recommend and come again.

A lovely apartment with fabulous views and very convenient. Very easy to keep clean and well equipped. The welcome pack was both lovely and generous. The car parking space is distant (10 minutes walk) and would be challenging if you were elderly (steep) or had young children (awkward no pavement roads). Expensive, but would consider again for the views and location. The fore street location is not the quietest but were not unduly disturbed.

An excellent location and well-equipped apartment!

Fabulous 10 day holiday, our second visit to Starfish dreams and if we are lucky it won't be our last. Stunning views and just two flights of stairs to the shops and everything St ives has to offer. The attention to detail and quality of every thing from kitchen accessories to bedlinen is very good. Also nice little touches including a welcome pack, crisps and wine, not forgetting the cornish cream teas from the Allotment Deli across the road and of course milk in the fridge. Beautiful apartment with stunning views. Expect noise, you are in the thick of the entertainment. It was settled by midnight in September when we stayed here.

The aptartment is in an excellent location and the views are spectacular. We have had a lovely week here and will definately come again.Mrs E Naughton.

Location and views fantastic. Noise and steps make it difficult with young children. Don't believe anything about noise cancelling windows. You will be kept awake Friday and Saturday nights with bars and live music and woken early with waste collection and street cleaning throughout your stay.

This apartment was perfect for our short break in our favourite place. The location is so convenient for the beaches and the shops. There was no need to eat out because we had amazing views and the apartment was so cosy. It is extremely well equipped and tastefully decorated.

Starfish Dreams is a superb location and offers everything St. Ives can offer. Just fabulous.
