Smeatons Terrace is a stunning cottage. We have been coming to St Ives in February for 20+ years and have stayed in many cottages; Smeatons Terrace is the best place we've stayed and we'll definitely return if possible. Thanks for a great stay and great service.... Jason and family

We really enjoyed our week at Smeaton's Terrace at the end of October / early November. The location could not be bettered for what we were after, everything was so close by, with the sea on our doorstep. The property was comfortably furnished with everything you could wish for in a holiday property. We enjoyed sitting in the armchairs by the bay window enjoying the sea, even when Storm Babet was raging! The parking spot was doable, but it was a challenge. I'm sure that we will re-book; I think that we found a gem of a property.

It’s all about the location and the view… magnificent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book here again. Not a newly or trendily decorated apartment, but we were very comfortable. I highly recommend! Thank you to the owners for sharing their amazing place with us.

St Ives is a unique location with some outstanding features and amazing holiday rental properties to match. We have visited many times and, on every occasion, the Aspects staff have been wonderful; attentive, helpful and always friendly and welcoming. I commend the location and Aspects, in particular, to all.

Cannot fault Aspects service .Smeatons Terrace is just perfect just so relaxing the views are glorious whatever the weather.

The property location was exceptional with the option to park the car and then leave it for a week as everything was so accessible. I was looking for a relaxing break where we could walk to eat out and soak in the Cornish hospitality which we did. We will definitely be looking to rebook for future holidays.

We’re stayed at Smeaton’s Terrace twice and we love it. The house is warm and comfortable with easy access to the harbour and shops. Whatever the weather Smeaton’s Terrace has it all. Love it .

Great apartment just don't book it the week I want

A comfortable and well equipped property in a great location. The parking space is adequate for a medium size car but too small for a large SUV. Great service from Aspect Holidays as usual. I would definitely like to return to this property.

We had the most wonderful week at Smeatons Terrace. What a fabulous property and the terrace is amazing. We loved the furnishings and the art and the beds were so comfortable. Easily the best place we have stayed in ST Ives. To have sea views and an outside seating area is rare and we loved it ! Thank you to the owners for making it a fabulous holiday - and for the coffee and biscuits and milk.

Smeaton's Terrace really is a gem of a property! It is comfortable and well looked after with the best beds I've ever slept in in a holiday property. The views are fabulous and the sound of the sea is a constant calming presence day and night. The terrace is lovely and particularly good in the morning when the sun streams onto it while you enjoy breakfast. The property is a good size for two adults and two teenagers - it felt spacious but cosy. I've stayed in St Ives every year for 40 years and this is definitely one of the best properties we've stayed in. I can highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful week and thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment. The views are simply stunning and watching the dolphins and seals from the windows or terrace was amazing. The apartment is well situated, very comfortable and we loved the open plan living downstairs. The apartment has everything you need and we slept so well with the wonderful sound of the waves outside. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent property - especially for wave watching! Loved it.

The beds are extremely comfy and the rooms are in excellent condition.

The kitchen is well equipped and of high class cooking pans etc. One thing I thought was missing was a wall clock, but in no way is that 'a spoiler'.

Smeaton’s Terrace is in a gorgeous location, once you’ve parked your car you won’t want to get in it again until you have to leave. Perfectly placed for surfing on Porthmeor, paddle boarding on Porthminster, swimming at Porthgwidden, going for coastal walks in both directions, visiting all the shops and restaurants and for visiting the many art galleries including the wonderful Tate St. Ives. I loved doing my daily yoga practice on the little balcony terrace to the sound of the ocean all around. We saw seals everyday and a pod of dolphins kindly put in an appearance whilst we were having coffee on said balcony on my birthday. Perfect really. Oh and the house is comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped. Thank you :)

Frankly the best location in St Ives. The outside terrace right over the sea was a huge bonus which we used all the time. We also loved the resident baby seagull and its parents on the outhouse roof! Open plan living area was perfect for family of 5 adults. If this place is still available in July next year please don't book it because we want it!

It was a delight staying in this property. The views out of the windows at the back of the house, gave us such joy!

Fantastic holiday. Smeatons terrace is so roomy and big, its in a great position with wonderful sea views. Close to all the bars and restaurants but very quiet in the evenings. Right next to the beach. You would find it difficult to find better accommodation in st ives.

Stunning location. Lovely accommodation. A perfect place to spend a week walking and exploring without the car.

This property is superbly located in St Ives a few minutes walk from the main harbour front and beach. It has beautiful panoramic sea views and is well appointed in all respects. We have stayed many times in Cornwall in holiday cottages, but this is the first time that we will be rebooking the same property for next year due to its stunning location.

Fantastic apartment and with current covid rules. All facilities needed to cook in every night for 4 adults with open plan kitchen no one felt left out. And then there is the view, outstanding

Smeaton’s Terrace is the most amazing holiday property we’ve stayed in since coming to St. Ives over 30 years ago. The cottage has breathtaking sea views and its modern, comfortable and well thought out layout makes it fabulous and very accessible. Our family loved the art work and spent the whole week discussing which was our favourite and that was only when we could take our eyes of the sea. Beautiful, thank you , the Walker Family x

Excellent location and stunning veiws.Equiptment was pretty basic, not sure if this was due to covid or not. I would recomend this property.

I've been coming to st ives for 40 years now and although it's a lot busier it hasn't lost its magic. Smeaton terrace seems to have the best of everything you need for the perfect holiday. Light and airy rooms all with spectacular views.we spent many hours listening to the waves crashing, watching seals bobbing in the surf and dogs playing in the sand. The house was very clean and all the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and seemed to have all the equipment needed. Whilst staying we had a roast and other meals with no problems. Because of its location its seemed very quiet. We found that the opposite side of the harbour was the busiest so was nice to be able to dip in and out of the crowds. Although it doesnt say on the information the property has an outside storage room on the balcony, this was great for wetsuits and other beach items. Parking so close was also fantastic but spaces are tight if you have a large car. Finally the main draw is the view from this property. We loved the look of envy on the faces of passers by as the looked through the window

This is a great apartment for couples or the family, and the position next to the Harbour, is great for anyone who has walking difficulties on the ground floor with a terrace overlooking the sea.

Only a very short walk onto the Harbour front, Gastro Bars,Restaurants and shops with plenty of benches to sit on and watch the world go by.

This is our 3rd year at Smeatons Terrace, and would recommend this 3 bedrooms apartment to anyone.

Beautiful comfortable house, lovely location.

An amazing stay. We've been staying in St Ives for many years and this has to be the most stunning of locations. Great to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and to wake to a fabulous view of the sun rising every day. The can't be a better location in St Ives. The house is is beautifully decorated with every detail thought of - even down to the 2 sets of binoculars left in the bay window for seal and bird watching.

Excellent property. Very quiet even when town was very busy. Not even seagulls noisy there. Very clean, great position,and views from rear windows/terrace superb. Best property we've stayed in from approx 10 in St Ives. Happy to recommend to anyone.

We loved Smearon’s Terrace last year and we loved it this year and we can’t wait until we visit again next year. It is everything you would want in a seaside apartment it has its own naturally beautiful setting. We were very reluctant to leave.

We thought that Smeatons Terrace was an ideal apartment in a beautiful spot. It more than lived up to expectations and the photographs. It felt more like a home and everywhere was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved it so much that we booked it again straightaway. There were many thoughtful aspects to it. We lacked nothing. We have stayed in many, many holiday self catering apartments and cottages and there’s isnt one to beat it in the UK.

This is a fantastic property. The views are amazing. The owners have thought of everything when furnishing and equipping this house. Nice and spacious inside and the beds were comfortable. Even though the house is near the town centre it was surprisingly quiet. Will definitely return.

If you want to wake to the rising sun, wave and wildlife watching this cottage is the one.

We loved everything about Smeatons Terrace. It was comfortable and welcoming. The view from the windows and Terrace was second to none. Watching the waves and hearing them at night was fantastic. The cottage is in a fabulous location. Quiet at night but just a stroll into the centre of St Ives. It couldn't have been better. We loved every minute of our holiday.
