Lovely break in St. Ives. My accommodation was exactly as described. I enjoyed the guided walk of the town with Tony Farrell, it was fascinating and entertaining. The Museum is excellent and well worth a visit. I hope to be back next year.

Holidays at The Wharf

Many of our cottages at The Wharf overlook the working harbour of St Ives. Here you'll find fishing boats, a gorgeous sandy beach and in the summer season you can take advantage of the boat trips on offer. Home to The RNLI, The St Ives Lifeboat Station is close by and is a popular attraction with tourists.

The Wharf, otherwise known as St Ives harbour, is a hive of activity throughout the year. With a continual hustle and bustle on the water and along the harbour front, there is always plenty to do and see while self catering at the Wharf, even at the quieter times of the year.  It’s an ever changing scene so perfect for those artists among you. Don’t forget about the very sheltered, sandy Harbour Beach, a perfect sun-trap in the heart of town and a great place to find seaglass and sea pottery! As night falls at the end of another perfect day, St Ives comes alive with a selection of bars, restaurants and cafés to suit every pocket and every taste in a truly cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Top tip

Be careful of the seagulls when eating at The Wharf.

Things to do on The Wharf

Boat Trips

Why not enjoy the scenery by boat and explore the coastline with an excursion with St Ives Boat Trips. Fishing trips are available for those looking for a bit of adventure, or for a more relaxing experience, a visit to seal island lets you see seals basking on the rocks at certain times of year.

Eating and Drinking

The Wharf is home to a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, serving up fresh fish and chips to gourmet burgers, with something to suit everyone. Enjoy an ice cream or Cornish pasty and watch the world go by on the harbour front, but remember to keep your wits about you; seagulls in St Ives are renowned for swooping in and stealing food right from your hands!

Smeaton's Pier

From here you'll get a stunning view of the harbour, and an up close view of the crystal clear waters. At the entrance to the pier you'll find St Leonard's Chapel; originally dedicated for local fisherman, it is now a museum and memorial for the fisherman of St Ives.

Lifeboat station

Home to the new £1.5 million lifeboat, the RNLI lifeboat station is a popular attraction for visitors to St Ives. The gift shop next door sells souvenirs where all profits go towards helping to save lives at sea.

We are so glad you liked it here and thank you for the helpful comments. We would always recommend that anyone with any kind of mobility issues or medical issues that may need to be considered before deciding on a suitable property, should always contact the team. Properties listed as accessible can range from a couple of steps into a property but all on 1 level once inside, to a property that is fully wheelchair friendly. We always try to indicate what makes the property accessible on the website, but this of course doesn't account for any factors outside the property aside from the immediate entrance. The team are based here in Cornwall and have extensive local knowledge, so we can help to advise. Low Tide is accessed via Mount Zion which can be reached via a few steps on one side or accessed via a sloped lane on the other side. Both involve a walk over cobbles. Hopefully this helps for future consideration. Aspects Holidays.

Lovely comfortable apartment, ideally situated for everything St Ives has to offer. Stunning views across the harbour.

Lovely break in St. Ives. My accommodation was exactly as described. I enjoyed the guided walk of the town with Tony Farrell, it was fascinating and entertaining. The Museum is excellent and well worth a visit. I hope to be back next year.

I was lucky enough to stay at Low Tide recently. Compared to other properties where I have stayed in St Ives, this was much quieter, particularly late at night and first thing in the morning, yet you still feel in the heart of everything.

The views are spectacular and there is nothing nicer than enjoying a cup of tea first thing whilst looking out of the Juliet balcony.

The facilities are great with all that you need to self-cater and you’re also a stone’s throw from lovely restaurants and bars and minutes from wonderful beaches.

I used a different company over the last five or six years to book my previous holidays in Cornwall, but I was so impressed with Aspects and this property, that I have booked again for next year.

Highly recommended!

This was our second year holidaying at low tide, St Ives and we would recommend it to anyone ????

Lovely comfortable apartment in a wonderful location. Already booked for next year!!

Great location. Great views. Clean. Functional. A tad tired and need of a lick of paint and new fittings and fixtures tidy it up.

Thanks for your feedback. It has been another exceptionally busy season which no doubt has caused some wear to the property. We have passed on your feedback to the owner, who usually addresses this kind of thing at the end of each season, and we will head over to inspect the property so that we can pass on any further feedback also. Thank you for making us aware. Tanya, Customer Services

Brilliant location, very comfortable and clean apartment, stunning view’s of the harbour. And the staff in the office could not be more helpful ?? We had a brilliant weeks holiday and will be booking again for next year!!

We had a fantastic stay at Low Tide, all was as it should be and what we expected. The view was as described and overall gave us a perfect base to enjoy St. Ives from. We would definitely book this property again and would say it is perfect for a family of 4 with great facilities. We will be looking to book again for next year!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) absolutely loved this apartment. It was really spacious for us and the location was incredible. The Juliette balconies were open all the time to soak up the St Ives atmosphere and the sound of the sea. I would highly recommend this place to anyone as it was so convenient being next to all the shops/restaurants/harbour/beach etc. We slept really well, so the noise of a central location didnt affect us at all. We would love to stay again.

Fantastic apartment, with amazing views. Great service from Aspects!

Excellent location small but perfect for a family of four. We really loved watching the world go by beneath our windows

Good position for town with good view , quiet location very warm flat .

We have been coming to St Ives for 15 years and always stay near the Wharf/Fore Street as love the location and being near Harbour Beach. The view from this flat is spectacular. Love the Juliet balcony and the chairs allow you to sit and look right out. The kids had a lovely comfy quiet bedroom at the back. It is noisy in the front bedroom, so sleep is regularly interrupted, by seagulls or early morning bin men or noise from the pubs, but we think it's worth it for the location! It needs information in the flat to advise people on recycling, bins, appliances, check out procedure etc. Attention to detail on cleaning could be better, e.g. skirting boards, radiators, edges of the carpet, kitchen cupboards, doors. A great week, lovely flat and beautiful sunshine.

Low Tide is very well located with fantastic views across the harbour. Close to beaches and all the amenities you could want. Very light, airy and warm. Lovely main spacious bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and drawers for your clothes. Spacious and well equipped kitchen with plenty of space for dining and relaxing in this living space. Ample room in the hallway for everything. Bathroom well appointed with decent shower. Very comfortable beds and good quality bedding and fluffy towels. Parking close by. All these details and touches make for a very comfortable, homely stay. Would definitely stay here again. :)

Fantastic holiday apartment, would advise anyone with children to consider the apartment above, high tide. As you could here music from the restaurant below on most evenings. Other than that the apartment is in a brilliant location, with great views.

Excellent customer service espeacially as lockdown came in the middle of our November holiday.

I love this apartment and have stayed here on many occasions. The location is ideal, being convenient for beaches and town and the apartment has a fantastic view across the harbour - so there is always something to watch. It is also extremely well equipped, comfortable and clean. What's not to like????

We loved our holiday at Low Tide and would definitely recommend it - the location on the harbour front is fantastic.

The accommodation was exactly as described, perfect location, close to everything we needed. Lovely views of the Harbour too. The apartment was so clean and had everything we needed, it was the relaxing holiday that we all needed! Thanks Aspect Holidays for Another one of our favourite holidays

Fantastic location - a perfect base to explore St Ives and watch the world go by.

Low Tide is an absolute gem of an apartment. Ideally located in the heart of St Ives, overlooking the harbour, it is handy for beaches and town. The apartment is very well equipped with quality furnishings and equipment and offers a comfortable and welcoming base, whatever time of year you take your holiday.

I have stayed at Low Tide on The Wharf a number of times and always have a great time. I love the uninterupted view over the harbour - so there is always something interesting to watch. The location is unrivalled, meaning everywhere is close by. The apartment is cosy, comfortable and clean with quality bed linen and fluffy towels, comfy furnishings and a very well equipped kitchen. It feels like home from home for me and I really love it.

This apartment ticks all the boxes for a super holiday would highly recommend and booking with Aspects Holidays was so easy

We love both Low Tide and High tide and have stayed several times in these properties. They are well equipped and the bed is very comfortable which is important when on holiday. We were over the moon when we saw the TV had been upgraded to a large smart TV!! (certainly needed when you have children). There are plenty of cleaning products and tablets for the dishwasher, kitchen equipment and lots of towels too. The best bit for us is the views they are fantastic and you get a real feel for the harbour area from this property, its truly beautiful.

Wonderful location, well appointed decoration and equipment friendly and professional service from all of the team. Overall a wonderful place to stay and enjoy St Ives.

We love St Ives. Lots to do and see. Also some excellent restaurants and cafes. The fish and seafood dishes are really nice and always fresh. We would recommend three although every one is very good. Beach Cafe and Portminster Kitchen both on the harbour, and Porthmeor Beach Cafe which you will find on the map, This was our second time with Aspects-Holidays. Always excellent service. So good we've already booked for next year.

Low Tide is ideal for people with mobility issues and is perfectly situated for guests to look out over the harbour. Have booked again next year.

Excellent location, all shops restaurants, bars, beaches and costal walks a stone throw away , the harbour is right there about 13 foot from the patio doors , beautiful ..

A great apartment in a great location. Well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Returning for sixth visit later in the year!

Great location is Low Tide and no problem parking in Low season, parked in The Island which is 5 mins away. Lovely, cosy and warm property. Aspects staff helpful as ever.

A lovely comfortable well equipped apartment with beautiful views over the harbour. Lovely to have the French doors as they let the outside in- who needs aboard when you have beautiful St Ives!

Very comfortable clean apartment in a perfect location with outstanding views.

A very cosy apartment with spectacular views of the harbour through the French windows.

This is a wonderful cottage with fantastic views over the harbour- good enough to make you want to stay in all day in the colder months.

Lovely comfortable well equipped apartment in one of the best locations in St Ives. Recently re-fitted bathroom, with very spacious shower, is a bonus and the beds are among the most comfortable I have ever encountered in holiday accommodation. Really useful welcome package of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits was also very happily received after a long journey. Thank you.

GREAT VIEWS , GOOD LOCATION , SPOT ON FOR KIDS ROOMY AND CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE

Lovely views, great for watching the world go by.

Fantastic view and best location in St. Ives.

Location, facilities, views, good shower, very warm, quiet at this time of year, has dishwasher and washing machine! Also friendly locals, great restaurants, lovely galleries, beautiful walks, sunshine in February! Best coffee in St Ives from right next door. We have really loved St Ives and the location of this apartment. We will definitely be back but may avoid the summer crowds...

Great views, would benefit from a bit of sprucing up.

We were sorry to read that you felt that Low Tide, The Wharf was due a bit of sprucing up at the time of your visit. The owner of Low Tide is regularly refreshing the decor and we're happy to report that just after your stay, he had the flooring replaced in the bathroom and has painted throughout. Thanks for taking the time to give us your review. Tanya, Customer Services.

Best flat in the best place in the world. !!!
