What our guests say...

We know how important honest reviews are when it comes to booking your holiday. To help you choose the right property for you, we publish all reviews left by guests who have stayed here in the past, with the few exceptions stated in our Review Guidelines. Please bear in mind that some facilities referred to by past guests in reviews can be removed or changed at any time.

The property is in a fantastic location but the noise levels coming from downstairs from before noon till gone 11 at night was not the experience we were expecting. The website says to expect some noise in the evenings, the restaurant also closes at 10 so we thought maybe some base noise between 5 and 10 but this wasn't the case. The property is well equipped but hot water was an issue even after boosting. The welcome pack and new years goodies were a lovely touch. Although it is in the perfect spot for popping in and out without any steep hills to climb we will not be returning to this property. No issues at all with aspects, great customer service and we will continue to use them to book our holidays to St ives.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback following your stay at Robin's Nest, and we appreciate you getting in touch at the time of your stay. Due to the location of the property, above a local restaurant, noise and general hustle and bustle can be expected, especially during peak times such as New Year's. We try to reflect this as accurately as we can on the website, so we are sorry if this was louder than you were expecting.

We are sorry that you found the hot water to run out quickly, even after using the boost button. This isn't something that we have had reported before, but we'll keep an eye on feedback moving forward to ensure this isn't a recurring problem. Katy, Customer Services.

Very poor reflection of Aspects Holidays, on arrival at the property I was taken aback at the dirty smelly back alley entrance to the property. The allocated parking space is over 25 mins walk so not very accessible during our stay. The windows in the living/ kitchen were very dangerous! The noise level from the bar/ cafe beneath the apartment is very high until late in the evening so not really suitable for small children. It is well located in st Ives for the restaurants and beaches. I would not book this property again!!

We were sorry to hear that this property was not what you expected. With everyone tastes and requirements varying greatly, we try to offer a range of properties to meet these and try our best to make sure that all properties and their locations and facilities are described as accurately as possible on the website, so customers can make an informed choice. This apartment is in a very central location, which is a huge bonus for those who want to be right in the heart of it all; able to step out the door and be instantly surrounded by the bustling atmosphere, the lovely shops, cafes, restaurants, and galleries and be on one the beach within a couple of minutes. This won't suit everyone though, so we try to highlight the location of the parking away from the property, the associated risk of noise, and list the service alley. With the great selection of restaurants and cafes here, several service alleys exist, and several properties need to be accessed via these alleys. Whilst they may not be pretty like the other lovely, cobbled streets around here, they are purely for access and are not visible once inside. The owner has also stressed that while the windows that you mention are at a low level in the property, they are all on restrictors, so are perfectly safe. If you are visiting the area again, please do contact the team beforehand, so that we can assist in finding a property that will better suit your needs. Aspects Holidays Customer Service team

Best thing about Robins Nest is the location, central to St Ives, good views from windows. Parking up at Rugby Club sufficient. Apartment needs a bit of a refresh in our opinion, painting wise. Some mould/damp in each bedroom window area. Unpleasant smell of chip fat in both bathrooms when restaurant is open. Due to issues will not be returning to this venue, there are better cottages in the area at a cheaper rental with Aspects.

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your time at Robin's Nest and made the most of being in the heart of St Ives during your stay. As the apartment is above a popular restaurant, it can be that some aromas and noise from below travel into the property, which some guests find adds to the experience of being located right in the hustle and bustle of town, but we know this may not be suitable for all. Here in Cornwall, we experience warm, humid conditions, and the combination of being so close to the sea and the nature of the materials commonly used in buildings here can make some properties susceptible to damp, but these areas of concern have been raised to the owner so they can be addressed. We aim to offer a wide range of properties that we hope will meet the different budgets, differing requirements and individual tastes of all guests, and we look forward to welcoming you back to St Ives soon!

Great apartment in a good location. Spacious living area and bedrooms. Well appointed bathrooms. Enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at Robins nest, couldnt fault anything. I would recommend you sort parking out prior to arrival as driving and parking in St Ives is challenging to say the least.

Lovely accomodation. Very clean and spacious. Excellent location! Will definitely book again.

Beautiful spacious accommodation as always with aspects. It was so close to the beaches and central for everything. Would recommend this property and stay here again.

All good, just as described! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robins Nest.

Lovely property, great location, will definitely return!!

Lovely clean and modern apartment. Great location … can walk to all beaches etc.

Great views over the harbour from the lounge.

Not ideal for a young family as some noise from the cafe below till around 10pm.

Thank you for your comments. Being in such a fantastic location, you may hear some of the hustle and bustle of the town at times, and sometimes some noise from the busy restaurant below, so we try to make all this clear in the description, as it may not suit everyone. But for those who want to be able to just step out of the door and be right there in the town to enjoy all the amazing beaches, cafes, galleries, restaurants and so on; you don't get much better locations than this. We are glad to hear that you liked it here and hopefully we will see you again soon! Tanya, Customer Services

Robin's nest was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Well situated for the town, beaches and harbour. we would return there again if going to St Ives and would highly recommend it.

Booking our holiday with Aspects was a straight forward experience from start to finish. Our accomodation was top quality and definitely value for money. Will definitely be booking with Aspects again for out next holiday in Cornwall.

Had a lovely stay at Robins Nest. Lovely decor, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. The apartment had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again !

Super large apartment - smart, modern and central location. Great for adults and mature kids. Probably not ideal for young kids/pushchairs or surfers because of the stairs and no outdoor storage. We've stayed in lots of different holiday rentals - this one is definitely recommended.

The standard of this accommodation is very high - in particular the cleanliness was impeccable, the staff did an excellent job for which I was grateful. I loved the view out across the bay to the Godrevy lighthouse, the shower room was great - a large shower area with nice rain shower fitting and with a separate hand held attachment too. The king bed and furnishings generally were very comfortable. It was great to have the DAB radio in the kitchen. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The location in St Ives is excellent. I have no complaints at all, but there are just a couple of small things to be aware of, which naturally go along with the central location of this property. Parking can be a problem - you may struggle to park in the Station car park even at the best of times, so do some research on alternatives to avoid frustration when you arrive. You will get some bass sounds form the music in the bar directly below the apartment in the evenings, which is to be expected, although not too much of an issue especially with mandatory 10pm closing at the time of writing.

Fantastic place to stay, all expectations met or exceeded. Would be happy to stay again

The only thing missing is a balcony and car park space, but considering the location this obviously isn’t possible. Everything else about the property is superb. Extremely comfortable, centre of the town, fantastic bar below that doesn’t create any unwanted noise, fantastic beds, awesome shower, lovely owners and very easy check in/check out. Even without a balcony there are great views that look out to the pier and the harbour is just around the corner. Would recommend and would 100% stay again.

We have just returned from our yearly trip to St Ives with our family. We love St Ives & have used Aspects Holidays on a few occasions. We have never been let down by them and this year was no exception. We stayed at Robin's Nest, an apartment sleeping 9 near to the front. It's a brilliant location and the apartment was excellent with everything we needed. As long as it's available we will definitely be going there again

Robins nest was a beautiful, spacious, comfortable place to stay. From the views of the bay to the underfloor heating we felt at home and had everything we needed to cook and spend time together as a family! The apartment was colourful and big enough for us all to have our own space but also be all together! This was one of the best places we have stayed in St.Ives especially for the price also and we’ve been many times. We would defiantly not hesitate to book again in the future for sure!!

A superb property in a fantastic location. This property exceeded our expectations in every way and we very much look forward to returning soon.
