Stayed at Podes with my wife, my 15 year old son and his pal (both 6 foot plus)and our Welsh Terrier. The cottage was very comfortable for all of us and had everything we needed. The location was superb with shops and restaurants within 2 minutes walk, the beach only 5 minutes walk and the Tate is a lovely 15 minute walk away. We parked our car for the week at Park Lane Car Park which again was only a 5 minute walk away. We were all really happy with Podes and would stay there again. St Ives is beautiful and worth the long drive from Cheshire.

Our stay at Podes was a great success. Its position is its USP as everything in St Ives is just a few minutes walk away. The house has been beautifully restored with two comfortable double bedrooms, one with a lovely sea view over the rooftops. The living accommodation works very well and we will definitely return.

St Ives Town

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.

So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.
